Welcome Letter from Grandmaster Jo Dear Competitors and Families, Thank you so much for being apart of this great event! Without our families, competitors, and volunteers, this tournament would not be possible. We are very excited to be hosting both Open Class and World Class competitions for the first time in our tournament s history! This year, we have a much larger competition space and will be using two gyms for the competition both the main gym and auxiliary gym. This is going to make the Open Class competition even better than before. Parents and spectators can have an easier time viewing their children s competition. For our World Class competitors, we will be using a World Taekwondo Federation regulation-sized World Poomsae ring AND a regulation-sized octagon for World Class Sparring. For our World Class Sparring members, we will also be using the electronic Daedo system for scoring! I am confident that this year s tournament will be our BEST one yet! Together, we can make next year s tournament even BETTER! Again, thank you all for your support, and good luck to all competitors! Sincerely, Grandmaster Brian K.H. Jo Founder, Dragon Yong-in Martial Arts Associaton and DYMA World Mission Institute 2
