TRAINING SCHEDULES The OC provides training times to the teams from Wednesday 23rd May in the morning, but if some teams require one or two previous days, you may ask conditions. The specific training schedule for each team for the days before the competition will be send by email to the contact details. Once the competition is started there will be a once through music training before each competition session if it s possible. Changing rooms: All participants should bring a padlock for the use of the lockers in the changing rooms. ATHLETE MEDICAL SERVICES The venue has medical services available for all participants ATHLETES AND TEAM OFFICIALS SEATING There will be separate stands for athletes and team official DOPING CONTROL According to the FINA DC Rules and the WADA International Standards. ACCREDITATION, ACCREDITATION DESK All teams will have their accreditation and they should send a picture of each member of the team and also the accreditation form enclosed before April 13rd, 2018 Please send the picture as jpg or jpeg files and named as follow: NAME_Firstname_CRY_function (e.g. GARCIA_María_ESP_swimmer) RULES The FINA Artistic Swimming World Series will be conducted under FINA rules. Competition rules Category: Senior for all competitors This competition is OPEN for the participation of foreign clubs or national teams. The competition will be composed of Technical routines (Solo, Mixed Duet, Duet and Team) and Free routines (Solo, Mixed Duet, Duet, Team, Combination and Highlight). Every club or national team is allowed to enter 2 solos, 2 duets, 2 mixed duets, 1 team, 1 combination and 1 highlight routine. Every swimmer is allowed to compete in 1 solo, 1 duet/mixed duet, 1 team, 1 combination and 1 highlight. There will be direct finals for all events. (All routines will be swam once). Draws: will be according to the current rules (SS.13.7) and will be done at the team managers meeting on the 24th May 2018. Results: will be according to FINA Rules (SS.20.2.1)

USD 257 000. Pathway to collecting points to win the series: Participants obtain points in each category (solo, duet, mixed duet and team) selecting freely the different competitions to attend. National Federations must participate in a minimum of four (4) competitions to be eligible for prize money in each of the categories. Different combinations of athlete participations are possible as long as the minimum number of events are completed: For example: countries may obtain points for the solo prize money by competing in three (3) solo tech events and one (1) solo free event with different athletes in four different competitions.
In the team category, any combination of four possible events (Team Free, Team Tech, Team Combination or Highlight Routine would be valid as long as the National Federation competed in four team events at four different competitions. Tie situation In case of a tie for any prize money position, the prize money corresponding to the number of placings tied will be divided in equal parts to the countries affected. For example, if there is a tie for the 3rd place by two countries, the money prize assigned for 3rd and 4th places will be added up, divided in two and delivered to both, and the next placement will be the 5th place. VISA INFORMATION The Royal Swimming Federation will provide Visa Assistance. If your team needs Visa please send us the Visa Form enclosed before March 16 th, 2018. TRANSPORTATION Local transportation (airporthotelairport) will be provided free for all teams only if they are accommodated at the official Hotel (Ayre Gran Hotel Colon). Each Federation will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation. SCORING Scoring will be according to the FINA Rule (SS 17) RANKINGS AND AWARDS According to FINA Rule SS 20.2.1. There will be two qualifications: national and international, according to the best scoring got in 1 solo tech, 1 solo free, 1 duet tech, 1 duet free, 1 mixed duet tech, 1 mixed duet free, 1 team tech, 1 team free, 1 combination and 1 Highlight per club or national team. There will be two awards: national and international (Spanish Open). Awards will be given to the three best Solo tech, Solo Free, Duet Tech, Duet Free, Mixed Duet Tech, Mixed Duet Free, Team Tech, Team Free, Free Combination and Highlight Routines, including reserves in all the events, and the Trophy for the club/national team first qualified in the national and international qualification.
