Welcome to the 4th Annual Over 60 s Cricket Carnival Sunday 19th - Thursday 23rd March 2017 2017 Carnival partner
Welcome... Welcome to the 4th Annual Over 60 s Carnival in Echuca/Moama and surrounding towns. The carnival has grown from 4 teams in our 1st year in 2014 to 15 teams this year which is outstanding growth in a short period of time and we re very grateful for the support of everyone that s been involved to help achieve that growth. All revenue raised from the carnival goes back into local junior cricket development and helps significantly to improve the facilities, equipment, participation and enjoyment for the players. This year there is a couple of exciting changes to the carnival with VOSCA and GMC joining forces to jointly organise and administer the carnival and also we ve started a new exciting partnership with Moama Bowling Club to host our events. GMC thanks both for there support and looks forward to many years of great carnivals. Enjoy the carnival and look forward to catching up with you all. (ii) By using the enclosed target score calculation sheet, take the total overs faced by the second batting team and add together the runs scored from the same amount of highest scoring overs of the team batting first. Apply the % factor shown on the attached sheet to the total of the highest scoring overs. This is the target score. e.g. If the team batting second faces 27 overs: total the highest 27 overs scored off by the first team and then use the % factor as shown on the Calculation Sheet. This will equate to the target score. The T/20 Game (1) - Batsmen must retire at 12 Balls, and can make as many runs as possible during this time.
