We are very excited about this year s event schedule and sincerely hope that it proves to be a valuable learning experience for all participants. CHANGES & UPDATES FOR 2018 REGISTRATION BEGINS APRIL 4 TH Juniors Members can register for events online starting on April 4 th at 6 p.m. Members may mail or fax in entries, however they will not be processed until April 13 th. April 23 rd will be last day for members to register before non-members. Starting April 24 th, all non-members can register for tournaments. Take advantage of this period to become a junior member and register for events you want to play in before they fill up. MEMBERSHIP LEVELS We have a new membership for this season. We are now offering a Beginner 11 & Under membership for $24. In order to qualify for this membership, juniors must not turn 12 before June 1st, 2018. If you are also on a PGA Jr. League team you will receive a discount code from your Captain for $24 to be used for this membership, making this membership FREE. This membership will receive discounts of $7 per Future Tour event, $5 per Tour Edge Parks event and $3-$5 per Par 3 event. The price for non-members to play in a Junior Tour event has gone up to $55 per event, from $50 last year. Become a Junior Member and save $15 per event! EVENTS & UPDATES The Junior Foundation has a few updates for the 2018 season. We are happy to announce for the first time the Junior Tour will have a presenting sponsor. The Balance & Believe Foundation and Callaway Golf will present the Junior Tour. We look forward to working with them to bring some non-golf type events to local communities. We continue to bring new sites to the tours. The following sites were added to the Junior Tour for 2018 - Tuscumbia GC, Wanaki GC, Northbrook CC, High Cliff GC, Horseshoe Bay, Pine Hills CC, Oconomowoc CC, Watertown CC, Greenwood Hills CC, Ives Grove GC, Kettle Hills GC and The Creeks at Ivy Acres. The Junior Foundation will continue to partner with the Wisconsin Golf Coaches Association to help run the High School Showcase event on July 8-9 at Whistling Straits, Irish Course. This event will continue to be a two day 36-hole event. The Future Tour sponsored by the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic will be expanded to fourteen events this summer. The LPGA is coming to Thornberry Creek on July 3-8, where you can see some of the best female players in the world compete. They are looking for volunteers if you are interested. See details online. JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP GIFTS Your junior membership gift will be based on the number of years you have been a member. We have some awesome gifts in 2018! Gifts range from a Sharpie set to logoed putter cover or head cover. View gifts online under Membership. DRIVE, CHIP & PUTT EVENTS - FREE REGISTRATION! The WPGA, along with the Junior Foundation, will be hosting 7 local Drive, Chip and Putt qualifiers along with 2 sub-regional qualifiers in 2018. The top three winners per age division from the local qualifiers advance to the designated sub-regional at either University Ridge or SentryWorld. There will be Minnesota local qualifying sites joining us at both locations, making five qualifying sites feeding into each of our two Sub-Regionals. 4

WPGA JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS RULES AND REGULATIONS *The rules and regulations below are applicable to all events and tours.* REGISTRATION INFORMATION Beginning April 4 th, members can register online. Member s mailed or faxed entries will be accepted on April 13 th. April 23 rd will be the last day for members to register for events before non-members. Starting on April 24 th, all non-members can register for tournaments. Entries will continue to be accepted until the deadline of each event. If the event is filled, the entry will be placed on the waiting list. NO REFUNDS after the entry deadline. If you cancel prior to deadline a cancellation fee will be charged. Fees vary per event and must accompany entry blank. This includes green fees, lunch and awards. Juniors are limited to participating in 14 WPGA Junior Tour events. It is not necessary to write separate checks for each event entered. ELIGIBILITY Out of state residents may now participate in our events provided they are junior members. Juniors must be age 18 or under on the day of the tournament. DEADLINE Deadlines and field size vary by event. Late entries will not be accepted. Entries and checks must be in the WPGA office by 5:00 p.m. the day of the deadline. In the event the tournament entry limit is met, a waiting list will be formed. ELECTRONIC MEASURING DEVICES These devices will now be allowed. A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. Yardage obtained from these devices may be shared with fellow competitors and is not deemed to be advice. DRESS CODE Proper golf attire is required. Collared shirts will be required at all times when at any event site. No cutoffs, jeans or jean shorts, tank tops, or gym shorts allowed. Hats may be worn provided they are worn with the bill to the front. Metal spikes are not permitted. Players may wear shoes with non-metal spikes or tennis shoes. Girls must wear skirts/skorts appropriately on golf course.no tucking of skirt/skorts allowed. CADDIES/ADVICE Caddies are not permitted. Contestants must carry their own bag or use a pull cart. Outside advice is not allowed during competition play. Breach of rule results in disqualification. WEATHER It is the responsibility of each contestant to contact the club where the event is to be played in the case of inclement weather or conditions that would warrant re-scheduling or cancellation of the tournament. If you checked the box to receive text messages about weather, we will send text updates with any weather information throughout the summer. PACE OF PLAY WE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCING THE PACE OF PLAY POLICY. DETAILS WILL BE POSTED ONLINE AND AT EACH EVENT. IF A PLAYER IS UNABLE TO FINISH THE EVENT IN A TIMELY MANNER, AS A RESULT OF ABILITY OR COURSE CONDITIONS, THE PLAYER MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT. IN SUCH A CASE, A FULL REFUND WILL BE GIVEN FOR HIS/HER ENTRY FEE. 5

CARE FOR THE GOLF COURSE All players are expected to maintain the golf course by replacing divots, repairing ball marks, raking bunkers, etc. Any abuse to the course or other club facilities will result in immediate disqualification. All players and parents are also encouraged to thank the host club staff and volunteers for their support of the WPGA Junior events. PLAYER CONDUCT RULE Any conduct that may be detrimental to the WPGA Junior events will not be tolerated including but not limited to swearing, club throwing, or damage to the golf course or another player s belongings. (Example: Not replacing your divot or fixing ball mark can result in breach of conduct rule). Penalty for breach of this rule is one stroke. Any major infraction may lead to twostroke penalty or disqualification. Possession of alcohol or tobacco products, gambling, and display of vulgar or abusive behavior will result in immediate disqualification. Violations may result in removal from future events. Quitting or walking off the golf course during a round will not be tolerated. All players MUST turn in their scorecard when the round is completed. If you are suspected of cheating, measures will be taken to monitor your score during future Junior Tour events. If a player suspects another of cheating or violating a rule of golf, the player should seek a rules official as soon as possible to handle the situation. Cheating is strictly prohibited. Cheating will result in immediate disqualification from the Junior Tour with no refund. CELL PHONE USE The use of cellular phones during the play of any WPGA Junior event will not be permitted. The penalty for the first violation will be two strokes for the player. The second violation will result in disqualification. We ask that if parents or spectators need to use the phone, you do so near the clubhouse and not out on the course during play. SPECTATOR GUIDELINES Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend tournaments. Rules for spectators are as follows: 1. Spectator cars/disabled spectator golf cars will be allowed at course s discretion. Please see website for details and usage rules. 2. Spectators are required to stay in the rough or on the cart paths and 15 yards away from the players. 3. Spectators are allowed to carry water, umbrellas, jackets, towels and food for the players. 4. Spectators are not allowed to give advice to the players. Violation will result in penalty or disqualification. Multiple violations will result in removal from future WPGA events. 5. Players shall not carry on conversations with spectators. This action could be construed as ADVICE. Players will be penalized for a violation. 6. Use of cell phone or similar devices on the golf course is prohibited. First violation will result in a two stroke penalty for the player, the second violation will be disqualification. 7. Players will be responsible for the actions of their spectators. 6

All regular Junior Tour rules and regulations apply. Boys and girls may play on same team. They will play in the boy s division of the oldest teammate. 54 teams. All others will be placed on waiting list in order received. $90 per two-person team. Includes: green fees, range balls, lunch and awards. ENTRY DEADLINE: JUNE 19 TH AT 5 P.M. 16-18, 14-15, 13 and under. If partners are in different age divisions, the team will compete in the oldest age division. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age division. Player of the Year Points will be awarded to both team members based on overall finish in the 14-18 year old division. No refunds after the deadline. See Junior Tour rules for refund policy. SHERRI STEINHAUER GIRLS EVENT July 16 th - 17 th, 2018 The WPGA teamed up with the Bucket of Hope to have the Sherri Steinhauer girls only event back on the schedule for 2018. Join us for this two day 36-hole event at Blackhawk Country Club and Pleasant View GC. Sherri Steinhauer: qualified for the LPGA Tour in 1986 and has been a fixture ever since. Her six victories include three majors: the 1992 de Maurier Ltd Classic and the Women s British Open in 1998 and 1999. She played on the United States team in the Solheim Cup Matches three times and has passed the $4 million mark in career winnings. Date: July 16 th -17 th, Sunday afternoon start on July 16 th. Event: Girls only 36-hole stroke play event. Played at Blackhawk CC & Pleasant View GC. Eligibility: Girls who have not reached their 19 th birthday as of July 16 th, 2018. Field Limit: Entry Fee: 84 player max $130 for junior members or $150 for non-members. Includes green fees, range balls and lunch. You can register online for this event at www.wiscjuniorgolf.com. STATE JUNIOR GIRLS MATCH PLAY REEDSBURG CC - JULY 5 TH - 6 TH, 2018 The WPGA Junior Foundation has teamed up with the WWSGA to bring the State Junior Girls Match Play back to a prominent event for girls. Each girl will play a qualifying round and be guaranteed at least one 18-hole match. Included in each entry is 18-hole greens fee, awards, range balls and lunch. WPGA JUNIOR TOUR RULES AND REGULATIONS TOUR DESCRIPTION Our most popular tour for juniors ages 12-18, with tournaments located all around the state of Wisconsin. These events are 18-hole stroke play tournaments geared towards juniors of all abilities. Age divisions are 12-13, 14-15, 16-18 for boys and girls. Course yardage is 6,000-6,350 for boys and 5,000-5,350 for girls. FORMAT 18-hole stroke play events. Six divisions as follows: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 12-13, Girls 16-18, Girls 14-15, Girls 12-13. The top three finishers will be awarded in each division. If less than five players in a division, only the top two will receive awards. Age on the day of the event determines division. POINTS Player of the Year points are based on overall finish against the full field for both Boys/Girls. Junior Golfers, We are excited to have our title sponsor The American Family Insurance Championship, back for the Players Tour. The American Family Insurance Championship will take place at University Ridge on June 22-24. This is a Champions Tour event and tickets are available online. They will also be supporting a new scholarship of $2,500 to a boy and $2,500 to a girl this year. The scholarship application is on the website and the deadline is May 11 th. We allow college students ages 21 and under the opportunity to play in our American Family Insurance Championship Players Tour events. These players will compete in a separate division and be awarded gift certificates from pro shop. The American Family Insurance Championship Players Tour is by invite ONLY. To be invited to play in the American Family Insurance Championship Players Tour events, you must have a qualifying WSGA handicap. Boys must be under a 10 index and girls must be under an 18.1 index. If you meet the above handicap requirements, contact Andy Landenberger at the Wisconsin PGA Section office to verify your handicap and be eligible to register for events on the American Family Insurance Championship Players Tour. THORNBERRY CREEK LPGA CLASSIC FUTURE CHAMPIONS TOUR RULES AND REGULATIONS TOUR DESCRIPTION These events are designed for players that want to get tournament experience but are not quite ready for 18-hole competition. Designed for boys and girls 7-14 years old, most events are 9 holes and are a perfect stepping stone for players wanting to improve their skills as they prepare for the WPGA Junior Tour. The tour will allow a maximum of 10 strokes on any hole to ensure that play moves along and the spirit of the competition of the tour is upheld. The event at Hawks View GC is a 18-hole par 3 course. ENTRY Members can also register on-line at www.wiscjuniorgolf.com. $16 per event (members) / $23 per event (nonmembers) must accompany entry blank. Member registration starts April 4. Non-members may register online starting April 24. This entry includes green fees, tee gift and awards. It is not necessary to write separate checks for each event entered and multiple entries should be mailed together. 2018 TOUR EDGE COUNTY PARKS SERIES TOUR DESCRIPTION: The WPGA Junior Foundation, Tour Edge and Milwaukee County Parks have teamed up to bring you the Tour Edge County Parks Series Tour. This Tour is for ages 10-18 and played at your local Milwaukee County Park golf courses. Juniors that are ages 10-12 will play 9 holes and juniors ages 13-18 will play 18 holes. This tournament series was designed to help junior golfers continue their progression of experiencing competitive golf beyond the Par 3 Tour and preparing them to compete in WPGA Junior Tour events. Milwaukee County Parks Tour participants will be competing in separate divisions based upon their age and gender. The divisions are as follows: Boys 10-12, Boys 13-14, Boys 15-18, Girls 10-12, Girls 13-14, and Girls 15-18. Awards will be given to the top golfers in each age division for both boys and girls. Participants will also receive Player of the Year points based upon where they finish in each event that they participate in. The top golfers on the Player of the Year points list for their respective divisions will be invited to play in the Tournament of Champions at the end of the season. ENTRY & FEES: There will be 2 entry fees associated with each tournament. One entry fee will be corresponding to members of the WPGA Junior Tour and will be labeled Member. The other entry fee will be labeled Non-Member and will be the fee associated with participants that are not members of the WPGA Junior Tour. Please choose the correct entry fee when registering for events. TEE TIMES AND PAIRINGS: Tee times can be accessed on our website, www.wiscjuniorgolf.com, approximately 5 6 days before the event. Requests for specific tee times or specific foursome pairings WILL NOT be accepted. CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds after entry deadline. If you cancel prior to deadline a $5 cancellation fee will be charged. If an event is cancelled in its entirety, refunds will be issued. Members of the Junior Tour will now be able to cancel their registration online in their BlueGolf profile.

2018 MADISON PAR 3 TOUR The Madison Par 3 tour is back for the 2018 season. The Par 3 tour is a great way for youth ages 7-12 to practice their golfing skills while making new friends along the way. These par 3 events will be played at shorter yardages at the golf courses. Yardages per hole will be shortened to around 90 yards per hole. This is a developmental tour for youth golfers. This tour is run in junction with the Balance & Believe Foundation in Madison.
