TRACK PROCEDURES 2016 RACE DAY Pi gaes will officially open a 4:00pm for regular programs. Big shows will have earlier opening imes. Hauler parking may be available approximaely 1 hour prior o pi gaes opening. Regisraion for all compeiors is he responsibiliy of heir race eam. I will be a he base of he pi ower and should be compleed immediaely upon arrival. Regisraion will end as follows o Mini Sock ½ hour prior o race ime ( 6:30pm ) o Pro Sock, Sporsman and Modified 10 min. Prior o race ime ( 6:50pm ) If you are no on ime, you may be excluded from running a hea race bu will able o paricipae in a B Main. If no B Main you will be added o he feaure even. A SCHEDULE OF EVENTS for each weekly show will be posed on he Cornwall Speedway web sie prior o he show dae. I will also be posed a he regisraion booh. A drivers meeing for all classes will be held a he Pi Tower 1 hour prior o race ime. ( 6:00pm ). Warm Ups for Pro Sock, Sporsman Modified and Tour Classes will be held 45 min. prior o race ime ( 6:15pm ). A handicap sysem for hea and feaure line ups will be used in all racing classes, excep on opening nigh and series evens. See Appendix A and consolaion ( B Main) races will be se up using Cornwall Speedway Line Ups Char. See Appendix B races will be he following lenghs: o Mini Sock and Novice Spor...6 Laps o Sporsmen and Pro Sock...8 Laps o Modified...10 Laps All drivers mus be ready o compee and have heir race cars on he line before each even eners he rack or hey will be sen o he rear of he field. No crew members are allowed on pi road unless approved by a race official. A no ime are crew members allowed on he race rack excep for pre race and winner circle ceremonies. Any race car no mainaining heir assigned posiion for any reason, once pas he pi gae, mus go o he back of he field, even if he race has no sared. This includes parade laps. Race cars ha miss heir assigned hea will no run in any oher hea, hey mus go o he B Main or will be added o he back of he feaure.

Feaure races will have a maximum of 24 race cars excep for special evens Feaure poins will be awarded for all evens, excep he Big Block show, as per he DIRTcar rule book based on he 60 poins sysem o All compeiors who regiser and aemp o qualify bu fall o make he feaure even will be awarded las place poins. ( 20 ) o Big Block even 70 rack poins will be awarded o all compeiors who regisered and aemp o qualify. Double handicap poins ( 140 ) will be added o any compeior who doesn aemp o qualify for his even. Track Championship o The rack championship shall be deermined based on he poins earned on each and every race nigh. This includes our and series races. The compeior wih he mos poins will be crowned champion. The poins fund and prizes will be awarded a he annual banque held he following spring. Recipiens mus be presen a he banque o receive cash prizes. Modified and Pro Sock Poin Championship o Poins earned from all heas during he season, excep he Big Block races, will be abulaed and a hea poin champion will be crowned for hese classes. Rookie of he Year o A rookie, in any class a Cornwall Speedway, is a compeior who Modified, Sporsman or Pro Sock
o Has no raced in more han a oal of 6 evens in he previous years in ha class of race car a any DIRTcar sancioned rack. Has no compleed a full season in a higher division ( 358 or Big Block Modified ) Has advised Cornwall Speedway officials, during regisraion, of heir inen o compee for Rookie of he Year prior o Augus 1 s. Mini Sock Has no raced in more han a oal of 6 evens in he previous years in ha class of race car a Cornwall Moor Speedway, Mohawk Inernaional Speedway, Brockville Onario Speedway or he now closed Auodrome Edelweiss. Has no compleed a full season in a higher division. Has advised Cornwall Speedway officials, during regisraion, of heir inen o compee for Rookie of he Year prior o Augus 1 s. Cornwall Speedway will have final auhoriy on eligibiliy for he Rookie of he Year award. RULES 358 Modified, Sporsman and Pro Sock will follow he DIRTcar rule book. SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY Cornwall Speedway considers he safey of all compeiors, heir eam members, he officials and he fans as he umos prioriy. Alcohol is no permied in he pi area during he race program. (Pis opening ill final checkered flag). Illegal use of drugs is no permied on he propery a any ime. Violaing eiher of hese rules will cause your immediae expulsion from he premises. Any driver deemed o be under he influence of alcohol or drugs while compeing will be deal wih as a Level 3 offender
DICIPLINARY ACTION LEVEL 1 Any driver, crew member or family member involved in any minor infracions during he race program may be deal wih by way of a verbal warning, wrien warning ( probaion ) and/or fines up o $200.00. LEVEL 2 Any driver, crew member or family member commiing any infracion while on probaion, who previously received LEVEL 1 disciplinary acion or any infracions involving leaving heir designaed pi area and going over o anoher eam, disruping he race program or making hreas or gesures will be deal wih by a fine beween $200 $300 and possible suspension from he speedway. LEVEL 3 Any driver, crew member or family member involved in any physical conac or inen o cause injury or damage anywhere on Cornwall Speedway propery or who previously received LEVEL 2 disciplinary acion will be deal wih by way of a fine beween $300 $500 and possible suspension from he speedway and may be required o pos a performance bond wih he Speedway before reurning o race. All races in all classes will be handicapped excep opening nigh, our and series evens. 2. Handicap poins will be issued based on he rack poins earned in he las hree races a Cornwall Speedway 3. Any compeior who was absen for one or more of hose race evens will be awarded 70 handicap poins for each missed race even. 4. Any compeior who is disqualified or penalized poins in any race will be awarded handicap poins equivalen o finishing firs in ha race 5. line ups will be se wih he lowes handicapped compeior saring on he pole in he firs hea. The res of he compeiors will be placed in ascending order puing he compeior wih he highes handicap las in he final hea.
6. The feaure handicap sysem will use a 2/3 rd forma. The qualified compeiors will be lined up wih he lowes handicap poins on he pole. The remaining qualified compeiors lined up in ascending order wih he highes compeior saring approximaely 2/3 rd from he fron. All non qualified compeiors or hose who qualify hrough consolaion evens will be added o he back of he field in ascending order based on heir final posiion in qualifying.
