SOUTHERN RACEWAY TIRE POLICY 10 th Annual Southern 100 Southern Raceway has a policy of NO TOLERANCE for Chemical Treating or Altering of Tires This applies to all divisions at any-time throughout the season. A competitor s tires may be checked at any-time for compliance. As deemed necessary, competitors tire sample(s) may be taken and sent to a qualified lab for testing. Samples will be taken by the competitor in the company of a Southern Raceway official using a grooving tool provided by the track. Samples will be obtained. Each sample will be placed in a glass vial by the competitor and sealed in an evidence bag. The evidence bag will be marked accordingly and signed by the competitor and the track official. The samples will be overnighted to the lab the following business day. Results will be available to competitor as soon as the results are received from the Lab. Results will then be posted to website & social media outlets. Any violation with any tire presented for competition may result in immediate disqualification from the events and or other penalties, including, but not limited to loss of money, loss of points, fine and/or suspension. PENALTIES FOR TREATED TIRES Loss of purse money for said event $1,000 fine Suspension for 45 calendar days ** Competitor will not be allowed to race until $1000 fine is paid in full.

ATV / GOLF CART RULES & REGULATIONS 1. All ATVs / Golf Carts on Southern Raceway property must display official permit at all times. 2. All operators must be at least14 years old. 3. 5 mph speed limit at ALL times. 4. NO riding on track or on top of over runs of track at ANYTIME!! 5. Stay behind all guard rails and concrete barriers at ALL times. 6. ATVs / Golf Carts are not to be operated in a manner that may endanger passengers or any other patrons on the grounds of Southern Raceway. 7. Race cars, track maintenance vehicles, all other vehicles and pedestrians have right away at all times. 8. NO reckless driving. Excessive speeds will not be tolerated. 9. ATVs / Golf Carts are restricted from certain areas. Any area with a NO ATV sign is off limits. 10. NO ATVs / Golf Carts are to be driven one hour after the completion of racing activities or before 8am. 11. ATVs / Golf Carts must park in designated areas and must not block entrances to buildings and roads. 12. No loud racing type ATVs allowed. 13. Santa Rosa County Sheriffs WILL enforce these rules!! Violation of these rules will result in the ATV / Golf Cart being impounded for the remainder of the event, permit revoked and possible expulsion of the operator from the property with NO REFUND. Southern Raceway Track / Race Rules 1. Full fire suit and RaceCeiver mandatory at all times. It is the driver s responsibility to make sure their RaceCeiver is working prior to going on to the speedway. 2. It is the driver s responsibility to be lined up prior to the start of the race. Line-ups will be posted at the drivers meeting area by entrance to track, and on fence by entrance to stands. 3. Initial start will be between the two markers (cones) in turn 4. The inside poll sets a moderate pace and can start the race anywhere between the two markers. The front row should be side-by-side with no crowding. All cars will retain original starting position until one lap is completed, unless a pitstop is made in pit area. 4. Restarts will be Alabama shuffle, second chooses in or out, all other positions by lineup. We have a curfew. Most features (not including Southern 100) will be 30 to 45 minutes. We will go single file if race goes long due to excessive cautions/spins. WE HAVE A CURFEW!!! Caution laps will count after time expires. 5. Pure Stock, Vintage and Street Stock RACE TO THE CAUTION!! Sportsman, Modifides and Late Models DO NOT RACE BACK TO CAUTION!! Line-up will be in the order of last scored lap. After one lap is completed, laps will count when the leader plus (1) car cross the finish line. 6. Cautions - Hold position, stay single file and pace. Red flag - Stop where designated by race director. 7. If you have a problem, pull to the pit steward in turn 4 area. 8. Move over flag - Lapped cars will immediately give way to leaders. Failure to comply will result in a penalty. 9. Any persons acting in an unsportsmanlike manner is subject to arrest. Any money and/or trophies won will be forfeited. 10. The race director will act upon any situation not specifically covered in these rules. Track official decisions are final. Please use ATVs to push racecars or get parts only. No one under 14 is allowed to drive ATVs. No playing on ATVs. Please use caution in the pit area. Please watch for track equipment in and around the speedway at all times.
