The engine room is accessed via a lifting stairway in the cockpit. This is very safe to access underway. Electrical System On either side deck there is access to a 50A cablemaster and a second 50A inlet. You can run the boat on a single 50A cord or you can use two 50A cords when required. In the summer months in Florida and the Bahamas you will need two cords, but when you don't need all the AC units running you can run on a single 50A cord if you manage your load. There is a large bank of Optima batteries (10 Optima AGM 900 CCA Batteries) dedicated to the house and inverter system. This will run the refrigeration and many of the house systems without the generator or shore power for many hours. This will allow you to anchor out in cool weather and shut the generator down. The Inverter is the house bank battery charger and there are several other 12 and 24 volt chargers that charge the engine and generator batteries. Water System The water pump is a 110 Volt Mach 5 water pump that runs off the inverter to provide good water pressure to multiple spigots at the same time. The four 90 gallon polypropylene water tanks are located aft of the engine room and are plumbed to function as one large 360 gallon tank. There is a large pressure tank to avoid excessive pump cycling. The Max Q water maker is rated at 600 GPD. Lazarette The lazarette provides lots of storage and houses many of the yacht's systems. The water maker, Mach 5 110V AC water pump, hot water heater, underwater lights, stern thruster, and water tanks are located in this space. There is lots of storage space for cruising gear.
