ANNOUNCEMENT: The Top End Moto Cross Club Inc (TEMCC), hereafter called the PROMOTER will conduct the 2015 Ultimate MX Series for Junior and Senior riders at the MX Track, Campbell Park, Catalina Rd, Palmerston, on Rd 1 SUN MARCH 8, Rd 2 SUN MARCH 22, Rd 3 SUN APRIL 12, Rd 4 - SAT/SUN MAY 16/17, RD 5 - SAT/SUN JUNE 13/14, RD 6 - SAT/SUN JUNE 27/28, RD 7 - SAT/SUN AUGUST 22/23, RD 8 - SAT SEPTEMBER 12, RD 9 - SAT OCTOBER 10 2. JURISDICTION: 2.1. The abovementioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling Australia Northern Territory which has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Number TBA and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia National or One Event Licences. 2.2. The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCR s), these Supplementary Regulations, and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling Australia Northern Territory. BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS. 3. ENTRIES: 3.1. Entries open forthwith and close last mail the Monday Prior to each event. Late Entries will be accepted after this date but will incur a $20 Late Entry Fee. 3.2. In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may be retained by the Promoter, if such retention is approved by Motorcycling Australia Northern Territory. 3.3. Only entries received on the official entry form that is accompanied by the correct fee will be accepted. 3.4. All senior riders must present their MA Licence at sign on. All Junior riders must present their MA Licence and Logbook at sign on 3.5. For those riders who do not hold a MA Licence, you MUST purchase a one event licence at sign on. 3.6. Any competitor under the age of 18 years must be signed in by a parent. If a parent cannot be present, a Deed of Appointment of Temporary Guardianship must be completed prior to the event. No other form will be accepted. No form = No ride.

3.7. NOTE:- LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED IF ACCOMPANIED BY THE $20 LATE ENTRY FEE AND THE RETURN OF ENTRY FEES FOR ANY RIDER WITHDRAWING FROM THE MEETING IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE PROMOTER. 4. INSURANCE: 4.1. National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability. 4.2. Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees. 4.3. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT COMPETITORS GIVE CONSIDERATION TO TAKING OUT WEEKLY BENEFITS INSURANCE. 5. MEDICAL SERVICES: St Johns Ambulance Volunteers will be in attendance at each meeting. 6 ENTRY FEE: 6.1. The entry fees for each round of the series are as follows: Mini (Pee wee Non Competitive) $25 50/65cc Classes $30 Pit Bikes $30 Other Junior Classes $40 All Senior Classes $50 A late entry fee of $20 will also be applicable to any rider entering after the close of entry for each round. 6.2 One Day club membership is available for non TEMCC members at a cost of $25 per person 6.3. Payment by Cash, Cheque and Money Order or Direct Deposit. ANY FEES FOR DISHONOURED CHEQUES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENTRANT. 6.4. Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to the Top End Motocross Club Inc. 6.5. Additional classes will cost an extra $10 per class. 6.7 Entry forms are required to be emailed to temcc@hotmail.com 6.8 Every rider is required to provide 1 volunteer to undertake duties on race day (1 volunteer per family). These duties may include Flag Marshall, Canteen, Scoring, etc. No volunteer No ride. Specific duties may be requested prior to race day, however, if left to race day, a duty will be provided for you. 6.9 ENTRY PASSES: Pit crew and riders immediate family will be admitted to the venue free up until end of Riders Briefing at each round. After this time, normal gate proceedings will take place with the cost of $10 per adult or $20 per family charged. Children under 16 are free. All officials receive free entry. All spectators to Mini Bike Track events will receive free entry 7 CLASSES OF COMPETITION Natural Terrain Mini Bikes MX - Juniors & Seniors 65cc Mini (Pee wee Non Competitive) Mini (Pee wee Non Competitive) Junior 85cc 2 Stroke & 150cc 4 Stroke 50cc 50cc Junior Lites 65cc 65cc Pro Open Pit Bikes (Invitation only) Junior 85cc 2 Stroke & 150cc 4 Stroke Pro Lites Junior Lites Intermediate Pro Open Clubman Pro Lites Vets (Over 35yrs) Intermediate Junior Quads (50cc, 90cc, 125cc, 250cc) Clubman Senior Quads (450cc) Vets (Over 35yrs) (QUADS by invitation only) Senior 125cc All Classes will race 3 x 5 laps. **Senior Lites Up to 250cc 2 or 4 Stroke machines with wheel sizes 16-19 rear and 19-21 front. ** Senior Open 255cc and over 2 or 4 stroke *** Junior / Senior Quads are invited to attend Natural Terrain event ONLY 8 AWARDS AND PRIZEMONEY: Competitors will be scored at each event, as per GCRs. Scores will be tallied over the series. Final scores will comprise of the best eight out of nine round totals. Trophies to be awarded to 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place positions for the series for each class. Presentation to be held on Saturday 28 th November, 2015. 9 ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS: 9.1 To constitute a class, the number of contestants entered and competing in each class shall be 4 and shall be at the discretion of the promoter.

9.2 Should there be insufficient entries in any class of competition, the decision to run or cancel the class, or to combine events and redistribute any awards and / or prizemoney, will be at the discretion of the promoter, subject to MANT approval. 10 RACE FORMAT: 3 Rounds of racing at each series round for all classes. Race format is subject to change at the discretion of the officials 11 MACHINES AND RIDERS: 11.1. All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs for Motocross competition. 11.2. Multiple entry of the one machine in the same class of competition is not permitted. 11.3. Scrutineering will be from and 2-3pm for Saturday racing and 7:30-8:30am for Sunday racing. Riders must attend scrutineering prior to sign on 11.4. Machines entered in the competition must have passed the scrutineering prior to taking part in any riding, practicing or racing. 11.5 Full riding gear must be presented to Scrutineering 11.6. An alternative machine is permitted provided it has been scrutineered in the time frame allocated and the Clerk of Course has approved the change of machine. 12 RIDING NUMBERS: 12.1. Wherever possible, competitors will be allocated their registered riding number or their preferred riding number. All others will be allocated numbers at the promoters discretion. 12.2. All number plates on all machines MUST comply with the GCRs. 13 GRID POSITIONS: Positions will be determined by the individual rider by peg drawer for gate pick. 14 RIDERS BRIEFING: A riders briefing will be held prior to the commencement of racing, which ALL competitors MUST attend. Details will be provided on the day of racing. 15 DRUG AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING: 15.1 All competitors and officials are advised that as part of the MA drug education program, drug testing may take place at any competition in accordance with Australian Sports Commission policy as implemented by the Australian Sports Drug Agency. 16.2 If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline, tel 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prizemoney may be delayed at the MANT discretion until the results of the tests are known. 17 CODE OF CONDUCT: All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia by-law - CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCRs), which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this Meeting and will be enforced. 18 TIMETABLE: SATURDAY SUNDAY Gates Open: 1pm 7am Sign On & Scrutineering: 2-3pm 7:30-8:30am Riders Briefing: 3:15pm 8:45am Practice/Racing: Straight after Riders Briefing on all days of competition For the purposes of drug and alcohol testing, the commencement of the meeting will be deemed to be 1pm Saturday and 7am Sunday with the completion of the meeting for the participant being when the participant has vacated the venue. 19 CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION: 1.3km Natural Terrain loop with some man-made obstacles. Moto-X Track with man made jumps, tabletops, long straights, banks and curves. Mini Track consists of man made jumps and tabletops, straights, banks and curves. Return to the pits via the chute beside the track for all tracks. 20 STARTS: Starts will be from the MX Gates for the Natural Terrain and Moto X Track and by Bungy Cord or Green Flag on the Mini Track. A 30 second board followed by a 5 second board will precede every race. 22. NOISE: Noise testing may take place at any time at the discretion of the Promoter and all bikes must comply with the relevant GCR s for noise levels

23. GST: The Goods and Services Tax affects the payment of prizemoney. If you do not provide an ABN or declare the sport is a hobby, the Promoter must withhold 48.5% of prizemoney over $50.00 which is otherwise payable to you. Please tick one of the boxes on the entry form and if appropriate provide your ABN to ensure the full amount of prize money is paid to you. 24. SPECIAL NOTES AND WARNINGS: 24.1 Alcohol is prohibited within the pits and the track area. 24.2 Smoking is strictly prohibited in the pit area 24.3 Enclosed footwear must be worn in the pit area (All flag marshals must wear enclosed footwear) 24.4 No bicycles or scooters allowed within the premises 24.5 Dogs will not be permitted (except guide dogs) 24.6 Catering and toilet facilities available. Please remember to support the club by purchasing from the supplied facilities 24.7 Any competitor who leaves the track during a race other than passing the finish flag will be classed as a non finisher with no points being awarded to that competitor.
