TESTIMONIES Megan Kensington I love the camaraderie of our Race Management team. I have made many friends and it is wonderful working with such a dedicated team of volunteers. Stewart Heine Having been sailing since teenage years and as my active days on the water were coming to an end, I wanted to keep my interests in sailing and have the opportunity to meet people of a similar mind. Colin Lucas It is fun, I have met many interesting people and I have been able to participate as a volunteer not only in regular club racing but also regional regattas, coastal racing, match racing at all levels up to Americas Cup, and Volvo Ocean races. Ray and Bernie Nixon We do Race Management because, we have the time, it s a shared interest and we enjoy being involved with a great bunch of volunteers. Ben Owen I do Race Management to keep involved in the sport, I feel it is something that I am good at and something that can lead to some unique opportunities. raceoffice@rnzys.org.nz 09 60 6800 or visit: www.rnzys.org.nz raceoffice@rnzys.org.nz 09 60 6800 or visit: www.rnzys.org.nz 6 7
