Welcome Welcome Thanks for joining Emeth! We re excited to be a part of your family s life, and we want to welcome you to being a member of ours. We ve taken a lot of time to put together information that will help you get the fullest experience out of your time at Emeth. We hope you will take some time to look through it. Emeth Means Truth In Hebrew True Character is something that is built from the inside out.this means developing the qualities that are necessary to make right choices, live with integrity, and conquer the many challenges that life brings our way. True Character is what helps an athlete reach their fullest potential in this sport. We believe that participating in the sport of gymnastics provides many opportunities to learn qualities that will last a lifetime and build true character that will make a child successful in many areas of their life, both now and as they grow older. At Emeth, we strive to build children up on the inside through our training methods and atmosphere. Our first priority is each child s inner character development. Second is their achievement of gymnastics skills. We value discipline, structure and excellence at Emeth and work to reflect these qualities in our coaching. We believe that true character is established on the principles of truth that are found in God s word. In John 14:6 Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. The character qualities we work to develop in children at Emeth are always based on the truths that are found in the bible. Each session we emphasize a specific quality: patience, sharing, endurance, attentiveness, positive attitude, self-confidence, encouraging others, diligence, and much, much more! Schedule Take a look at our calendar Our year is divided in four different curriculum seasons, Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer. Each curriculum includes a schedule of gymnastics and character training throughout! Checkout the posters at Emeth to stay in loop. Schedule : Each class day students are trained on core gymnastics building blocks including balance, strength, & flexibility. Each class level also trains progressively more advanced skills. Character: We take time at the beginning and/or end of each class to talk about the current character theme, including what it is and how to practice it in class. Coaches also look for teachable moments to train character throughout every class. We specifically create our curriculum and lesson plans for the age, maturity, and physical capabilities of students in each level, and then work to apply these plans to each individual child! Fun Weekly Themes: We like having fun while we learn! Each curriculum is full of fun themes like Superhero Match Costume Week Superman flying contests Watch your weekly handout for the details! All Emeth Programs are designed with the curriculum intention of students spending a full year in each class level. Students can enter a class at any point during the year - it is not necessary to begin at a certain date or part of the year. Some students may spend more or less time in a class level than the typical year. Advancement is based on evaluations, which are completed each season. Students may be promoted to a class that is older or at a higher progressional level. PAGE 10 OF 14

Schedule (cont.) Super Skills Student Evaluations Student Evals are conducted during Eval week near the end of each curriculum (ex: Fall). Coaches test each student s level of ability to complete a set of core skills and record it on a scale of 1 to 5. Evals are made available to parents the following week. When students have mastered the skills in a level (all 4 s or above), they are promoted to the next level. Promotions are posted on EmethGym.com on the Monday following Eval week. Each season, along with the regular training of core level skills on each event, students are also learning Super Skills. Super Skills change every season, helping students to increase their knowledge and mastery of a wider range of key gymnastics skills than can be done with Evals. On the last week(s) of the season, students earn a ribbon on each event to coordinate with the Super Skill they have achieved! Super Skills are posted in the waiting area for parents to view. Enrollments When you enroll in classes at Emeth, your enrollment does not have an end/drop date until you set one. You ll have your class spot as long as you want to continue! No worrying about reregistering ever! Tuition (billing) Cycles We ll bill you each month for four weeks in the future. The due date for your class tuition is always the 1st of the month. The classes you pay for follow that date. (See Tuition Cycles on the next page.) Autopay! Make things easy. Sign up for autopay and we ll automatically process your payment for you on the 1st of each month. Enrollment / Tuition Cycles Risk Free: If you decide to drop a class, we will happily refund any future classes you do not want to attend but have already paid for. You can always pay by check, cash or card before the 1st if you prefer. PAGE 11 OF 14
