Conditions of Entry Pony Club & Open Sections: Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that current PCV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. Before riding: All competitors (including Pony Club riders) in the open rings must complete a Liability Declaration Form (hand in on the day). The form is included with this program. A $5 fee will apply for forms that need to be supplied by the event organisers on the day b. Participants need to pay $10 Day Attendance Fee UNLESS they can provide proof on the day that they are current financial members of: Pony Club Association of Victoria; Equestrian Australia* (EA); HRCAV an Inter State Pony Club; Arab Horse Society of Australia (AHSA); Australian Endurance Riders Association (AERA); or can provide proof that they are covered by Public Liability Insurance Policy with a minimum of $10,000.000.00 c. Riders without adequate Insurance Cover pay $10 for Liability Only cover for the duration of the event (not personal Medical) and complete the Day Participant Waiver PCV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary s office. No current, correct card means no entry to the Pony Club ring. NO exceptions! The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason. All riders must wear complying helmets ASSA3838 standard EN1384 Standard, made in 2015 or earlier VG1 standard PAS015 Standard ARB HS 2012 standard ASTM F1163 standard Gear check: Pony Club sections require gear check before riding. Dogs are prohibited without exception. No stallions, colts or rigs. PCV Alcohol and Smoking Policies apply. Lungeing is only allowed in the designated lungeing area until 9.30 am. Only competitors may ride their horse on the day of competition. Competitors under the age of 14 years may have another competent person over the age of 14 years lunge their horse in the designated lungeing area The penalty for disobeying this rule is elimination. Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

Protection is afforded to the Day Participant under the PCAV Public Liability policy, only whilst participating in activities organised and/or run by the PCAV Club at that event, where they are liable for causing bodily injury or property damage to others, excluding whilst travelling to and from such event. I voluntarily participate at my own risk and assume sole responsibility for any injury, death or property damage I may suffer that arises from my participation in horse sport activities.

I understand and acknowledge the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind altering drugs before and during the activity and I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with their consumption. I agree to follow the directions of any event organiser or official and that any misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direction of any organiser or official can result in the cancellation of my participation in the event and my immediate removal from my horse no matter where that may occur. I further agree to abide by the Rules and Conditions of this event and the official Rule Book of the Pony Club Association of Victoria. I understand that any such non-compliance may result in injury, death and/or permanent disability and I agree to indemnify PCAV against all claims made by any person as a result of my failure to comply. I agree to wear a helmet at all times whilst riding and agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring that I wear a suitable helmet at all times while riding and take sole responsibility for my actions. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless and agree not to sue the proprietors of the Pony Club Association of Victoria and/or the event organiser, their officers, officials, volunteers, coaches, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, state bodies, affiliated clubs and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the activities (all of whom are referred to as Releasees ) with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. Effect of this Document - I have had sufficient opportunity to read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without inducement of any kind.
