Ph 131788 Kym s Korner Welcome back to term three, the year is just flying by. Next week is the inter-school sports carnivals. On Wednesday those students who qualified will represent the school in throwing, jumping and 800m events. All students will be par%cipa%ng on Friday and will need to be dropped off and collected from Bunkers Hill School. Sport is part of the school curriculum and all students are expected to par%cipate and support their school. Parents can also be involved by helping out with the cake stall on the day. See P&C newsle/er a/achment for more details. School camp for year 3-6 students will be held in the final week of the term. Details of costs have already been sent home and we encourage parents to begin making payments by Bpay so it is not such a burden later in the term. Permission forms will go home next week. The QSchools App is a fantas%c way to keep up with what is going on at your school. This term I am running a compe%%on to encourage all families to upload and use the app on their phones. Over the next five weeks I will send out a code word via a push no%fica%on using the QSchools App. Once you have all five code words please place them in a named envelope in the school box in the office. A random entry will be selected to win a family pass to the movies. To collect the prize, the winner must show that they have the QSchools App on their phone. Keep an eye out for QParent, an app that will keep you up to date with all of your student s records and a/endance. See you all at the sports next week! Student Permissions Please contact the office for new permission forms if you would like to change any approvals eg. internet access, media etc. Please remember to let us know of any change of medical details, addresses, phone number, emergency contacts etc. Thank you. Kym It's back! Woolworths Earn & Learn starts on Wednesday 15th July. It's simple to participate. Starting on Wednesday 15th July, when anyone from our school community - staff, parents, friends shop at Woolworths, you can collect stickers to place on sticker sheets. You will get one sticker for every $10 spent*. Once completed, the sticker sheets can be placed in a collection box, either in the collection box here at school or our local Woolworths. (Clifford Gardens & Drayton). Notes were sent home to every family on Monday.

Tuckshop Please note there is no tuckshop this fortnight due to the Athletics Carnivals. Our first tuckshop for the term will be on Thursday, 6th August. A new menu (slightly different from last term) has gone home today. A huge thank you to our volunteer helpers. A reminder that Athletics Permission forms are due. Please return, especially if not attending, as we have limited places in each event, this will give another student the opportunity to compete. Please don t hesitate to contact the school if you have any queries. Many thanks. Can all families please check the lost property basket, which is located under A Block. The basket is extremely full of unclaimed clothes and hats.
