MORGAN HILL GOLF COURSE MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES A. Introduction Morgan Hill Golf Course, herein referred to as MHGC, is offering Memberships for golf. This document explains the terms and conditions, policies and procedures applicable to the Pass holder Plan. B. Course Facilities An Eighteen Hole Championship Golf Course. Pro Shop and Locker Facilities (lockers based on Availability) The View at Morgan Hill Restaurant Driving Range, Putting Greens, Chipping Area The privileges of Golf are subject to this Membership Plan chosen. Upon approval by MHGC, payment and application completed in full, pass holder rights and privileges will be as follows: Description of Memberships Categories Individual - allows full golfing privileges for one (1) golfer. Plus One - must be a member of the same household and can be a spouse, Significant other or a dependent under the age of 24. Family Membership - allows husband, wife or significant other and children under the age of 24. Membership Plans *Seniors age 60 and over receive a 20% discount on memberships Full Golf Memberships- Member has access to all club facilities 7 days a week. Senior 20% Discount Individual $1,500 *$1,200 Plus One $2,250 *$1,800 Family $3,000 *$2,700 Weekday Membership - Member has access to the golf course Monday - Friday. Application for a Membership at MHGC is available to the general public. All applicants for golf must comply with the following requirements: (a) Complete, sign, and return the appropriate Application to MHGC. The application will be reviewed and a determination will be made within ten days of receipt. MHGC may accept or reject any application in its sole discretion. (b) The Member(s) agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions listed, as well as rules and regulations of MHGC. Member(s) agree to release and indemnify MHGC, officers, employees, and any related party for any and all damages and injuries caused by their own acts or the acts of their agents and guests as further outlined in the rules and regulations contained in this Pass Holder Plan Handbook. (c) Each Member at MHGC shall be responsible for the conduct of their guests when using MHGC facilities. Each Member shall be directly responsible for all damages and injuries caused by and for all charges incurred by themselves or their guests. C. Facility Use for MHGC and General Public 1. MHGC reserves the right to hold events including, but not limited to, golf outings which may result in the closure of the facilities for a period of time. Members will be made aware of the closures in advance. 2. Repair and Maintenance of MHGC may make it necessary for the club to change hours of use or restrict the use of MHGC or to close the facilities temporarily. 3. General public will be allowed advance tee times inside of 14 days. D. General Club Rules and Regulations 1. Hours of operation shall be established by MHGC based on the season.
2. All members must check in with the golf shop before going onto the golf course. Tee times are required. 3. Soft Spikes are required of all golfers. 4. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from The View at Morgan Hill. 5. No carts are to be removed from property. 6. Proper Golf Attire is required. Collared shirts and dress pants, skirts, or shorts required. No jeans are permitted. Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward at all times. Athletic, non-descript warm-up suits may be worn in cooler and inclement weather. Additionally, not only must appropriate attire be worn at all times, but it is necessary to observe the spirit of the dress code. Any member wearing golf attire deemed to be inappropriate by the General Manager, Golf Professional, or Manager on Duty will be asked to change such attire or leave the club. Inappropriate attire would include but is not limited to articles of clothing in poor repair, shorts that are too short or long, clothing with offensive graphics, writings, or messages, etc. 7. Portable Cellular Phones: Morgan Hill Golf Course encourages all members to leave their cell phones in their cars or lockers. However, if you must have phone accessibility, please set your phone to vibrate mode while in all playing or practice areas. Use of speakerphone or walkie-talkie features is strictly prohibited. 8. Rules and Etiquette: USGA RULES will govern play at all times, unless otherwise noted and posted in the Golf Shop. Local rules are noted on the official score card. The Golf Professional and his/her staff will be pleased to assist with rulings. The traditional rules of golf etiquette are applicable at all times. Please respect our course by properly repairing all ball marks and filling fairway divots. A golf Etiquette brochure will be available to all members in the Golf Shop. The brochure includes, but is not limited to, care of the greens, bunkers, fairways, slow play, cart use, Playing through, and other acceptable behavior, to ensure and enjoyable and relaxing game of golf. Practice is restricted to practice areas only unless it occurs during an on-course golf lesson given by the club s teaching professional. Violations of these rules may result in suspension or
loss of playing privileges at the discretion of the General Manager, Golf Professional or Ownership. 9. Conduct: All Members are expected to maintain proper decorum while on premises at the club. At the discretion of the Owners, General Manager, Golf Professional or Manager on duty, members who do not maintain a proper civil and social attitude will be asked to immediately leave the premises. 10. Alcoholic Beverages: Morgan Hill Golf Course serves alcoholic beverages under a license issued from the State of Pennsylvania. Members are restricted from bringing alcohol for on-site consumption onto club property. No alcoholic beverages are to be served to or consumed by anyone under the age of 21 anywhere on the club premises. Persons who are unable to verify their age may be denied service. Club employees may, at their discretion, refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person who appears to be intoxicated. 11. Clubs and Bags: All players must have their own set of clubs and bag. Rental Clubs available through the golf shop. 12. Pace of Play: When a player reaches double par they must pick up and proceed to the next hole. Pace of play must be kept in accordance with MHGC standards. Staff reserves the right to enforce rules and regulations. 13. Golf Carts: All cart restrictions must be obeyed at all times. Each member assumes sole responsibility for his or her property. MHGC is not responsible for any loss or damage to any private property used or stored at the club facilities. 14. Tee Time Reservations: Reservations for golf must be made through the pro shop. In the event that you need to cancel a tee time you must give the pro shop forty eight hours notice. Cancellations inside the 48 hours for weekends and holidays will result in the following actions: 1 st Offense: Members will be warned and a notation will be placed in the Individuals file. 2 nd Offense: Members will lose the ability to book advanced tee times. 3 rd Offense: Members will charged the appropriate greens fee for the unfilled time.
E. Overview This document serves as notice to all members, current and future of the Morgan Hill Golf Course, as written rules and regulations for members in the club. Ownership of Morgan Hill Golf Course reserves the right to add, delete or modify any part of this document as deemed appropriate by their decision. Current Members will be notified in writing of any and all changes prior to fifteen days of the effective date for changes. If any part or portion of this document is deemed unenforceable by governing or legal entities, then the remaining part or portion will continue in effect. Members Terms and Conditions 1. Approval for Membership Privileges: I hereby apply for membership privileges at Morgan Hill Golf Course. Membership is contingent upon approval, which approval shall be in the Club s sole and absolute discretion. 2. Terms of Membership: Membership in the club is an annual pass continuing for one year from the date of acceptance by Morgan Hill Golf Course. Members are required to give written notice 30 days prior to the expiration for the season. Unless written notice is received, members shall renew automatically one year from the date of acceptance at 2018 rates. 3. Membership Fees: The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that this application for the season and accompanying payment are irrevocable by the applicant they have been mailed or delivered by the Club, unless this Application for playing privileges is not acted upon favorably. All Membership fees are non-refundable, and failure to pay all amounts of the Membership fee when due will be cause for forfeiture of all playing privileges in the Club without refund of any Membership fee previously paid. CLUB RULES Membership No show and short show Rules: All memberships are subject to the rules and regulations of the Club regarding no-show tee times. Failure to abide by Club policy regarding no-show and short-show tee times will be required to have Credit Card on file and will result in a charge to a members Credit Card for the day of the short show or no show. This policy is a strict policy and follows directly from our website: Golfers that book a tee time and either do not show up, or show up with less players will be required to pay for the number of golfers no showing. Initial Booking Tee Times: Members are only allowed to book or reserve one foursome per day, unless otherwise approved by management. Members cannot book multiple tee times for other Members. If multiple groups are playing back to back each tee time must have a different Member reserving the time. The Member booking the time is responsible for the group they booked and is subject to rules in the case their group short-shows or no-shows. Initial Check-In Policy: All Members must individually come into the golf shop, announce themselves and obtain a starter slip from the counter staff each time they play. Once received, this slip must be given to the starter. If no starter is present it must be given to the outside bag drop off staff. If you are playing outside of your Membership restrictions your greens fee must be paid for at the time of check in before your round. Initial
