FINANCIAL REPORT KF presented the status of income from the Alnwick South School (ASS)concert. We have received a cheque as s 280 from Northumberland Community Chest Action/Info 2. ALNWICK SOUTH CONCERT The concert was a superb event and enjoyed by everyone who attended. The feedback from the parents and friends of the school was excellent. The concert raised a significant sum that was shared. Our share was 194 Ticket Sales 88 Raffle The committee wishes to record their thanks to everyone who took part and to the school for organising the event. Proposed: KW Seconded: BB Agreed
3. CHOIR MEMBERSHIP CF advised that Mr Andy and Mrs Pat Griffin would be joining the choir. The choir remains at a steady state of membership. GC advised that a former choir member had indicated that he would like to return [Father Tom Dawson] 4. PROGRAMME OF EVENTS See [Annex A - OUTLINE PROGRAMME OF EVENTS] These events are more or less firmed up and choir members should make a note in their diaries. 5. NON-AVAILABILITY OF THE MUSEUM The museum closes on Saturday 16 th Nov. CF and Jane Mann from the museum are managing availability of the museum, during the closedown. The choir is seeking other reasonably priced venue(s) to provide a stop-gap solution. 6. MUSIC PURCHASES CF sought approval to purchase 100 Carols for Choirs and some further copies of sheet music to support the Autumn and Winter programme. FORMAT OF CHRISTMAS PROGRAMME We will be singing traditional carols with some in unison. Mayor has requested that we keep to tradition.
