BEHIND THE GATE RIVER RIDGE NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2016 ISSUE FROM OUR PRESIDENT TO ALL OUR RESIDENTS: If you have not been receiving Blast E-mails from Ameri- Tech, please contact Louis DeSantis, our property manager, at Ameri-Tech and give him your e-mail address. This will enable you to be informed of important information regarding our community. LDeSantis@ameritechmail.com More people are stopping at the stop signs. Thank you ALL for that. We really don't want speed bumps. Lately, someone has been peeling out and burning rubber in our community. You can see the tire marks in certain areas. I doubt if it is anyone reading this article, but it might be someone's young adult son or daughter, or one of their friends. Please help us put a stop to this issue before someone gets hurt, or has to buy new tires. I am sure you have noticed; we are now mowing every other week. This started in October and will continue during the cooler weather. REMEMBER, our Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 6:00 pm at the clubhouse. Sign in is 5:45 pm. We need a quorum for this meeting, so please send in your proxy when you receive it, or even better...come to the meeting! We will be discussing the budget. There will not be a scheduled HOA Board Meeting for December. We will resume our meetings starting the third Tuesday in January. Thank you all for your continued support. Have a happy Halloween, A great Thanksgiving, and enjoy the Christmas season. Jackie Pavlich, HOA President

During the monthly inspection of the community, it was noted that many driveways need attention. In fact, every street in our development has some driveways and sidewalks that need attention. Please take time to pressure wash your driveway and sidewalks in order to avoid getting a violation letter. Also, check your mailboxes. If they need washed or painted, please follow thru. One more thing...many house numbers on the mailboxes are faded. If your numbers are faded, please replace them. Don't let faded numbers keep an emergency vehicle from finding your house or mail delivery interrupted. FOR YOUR INFORMATION here are the people on the following committees: ARC: Jackie Marenghi, Denice Piszczek, Andy Rucci, and Catherine Blomme, Board Liaison; Gardening: Denice Piszczek, Everton Gordon, Hilary & Terry Johnson, Juli Ormsly, Jill Samu, Board Liaison; LSI: Rich Foster, Ed Blomme, John Mihalic, John Samu, Rick Hantson, Sal Fiordilino, Bruce Bathurst, Jim Cataldo, Board Liaison; Social Media: Barbara Lucas, Brenda and Rodney DeBellonia; Welcome: Lori Salzman, Juli Ormsby, Linda Goodworth, Jackie Pavlich, Board Liaison; Finance: Jim Phipps, Gerald Crawford and Frank Lannon, Board Liaison.

Jackie Marenghi writes: River Ridge Ladies, I hope you all have had a happy, healthy summer. After 90+days of 90 degree weather, I am ready for the fall season to begin. We will be able to have two leagues this year; an 18 hole league and a 9 hole league. The 9 hole league will be starting on the front 9 one week and the back 9 the other week. We will be using the month of October to work out the kinks. You will need to decide which league you want to join. The dues for both are soooo I am in the process of acquiring some golf software for this purpose. The Senior Men's League has been very helpful in this respect. The 18 hole league will tee of at 9:03. The 9 hole league will tee off at approximately 9:45 (to be determined according to th number of players). There will be two sign up sheets posted on October 1st on the Board in the Clubhouse. Any questions? Email jacjoe67@yahoo.com or call (727)845-0474. I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting new members! *********************************** There are many opportunities to golf at River Ridge. Besides the women's league, the scrambles are Monday and Friday and don't forget the men's leagues. Stop in the clubhouse for more details.
