INTRODUCTION This Job Hazard/Safety Analysis has been conducted and prepared for the use of Maintenance personnel. This is a partial list of known tasks performed. The tasks have been placed in alphabetical order and in a table format. Each task is listed in a step-by-step sequence followed by the potential hazard and a recommended action or procedure to increase safety. This is by no means an exhaustive list and is subject to modification. Additional comments may be added as more information becomes available. RESPONSIBILITY Risk and Safety Manager is responsible for: Conducting Job Hazard/Safety Analysis on an as needed basis (new equipment, new tasks, etc.). Communicating the PPE requirements to Supervisors. Communicating the job hazards associated with specific jobs to Supervisors. Supervisors are responsible for: Communicating the hazards associated with an employee s job. Providing the appropriate PPE required for the employee s task. Ensuring that personnel wear the required PPE. Notifying the Risk/Safety Manager as new machinery/equipment is introduced into the workplace. Page 1
