When you enter the lake there is a narrow strip of land on the left. Turn to the left around this point and the raft will be tucked up in the corner, bow into Homestead Park. 26 March Alfresco lunch either on the boats or in the park, which is accessible via a small beach This is a BYO everything function or just lay back and relax. 27 March For those who are adventurous, it is proposed (weather permitting) to do a Rubber Duck safari up the narrow reaches of the Georges River, past Warwick Farm Racecourse, under the Bridge, across Lake Moore and beyond Liverpool Hospital to just below the weir. Bring some liquid refreshments and nibblies to enjoy on the journey. 28 March Cruise home at your leisure, but again keep an eye on the tides that are suitable to your boat.

October 1 to 3 October Long Weekend 1 October We are revisiting Port Hacking. We haven't spent time there as a Club since 2006. The plan is to catch the high tide as we enter Port Hacking and raft up in Gooseberry Bay. High tide is at 0819, with stern anchors out and bows pointed into the Bay we should ride any incoming wash in comfort. 2 October Weather permitting, a Rubber Duck Safari in the morning up to the water hole at the end of South West Arm. Don't forget to bring the cheese and champers. We will then return to the raft for a sausage sizzle lunch. 3 October Chill out and travel home at your leisure, but remember High Tide is at 0925 and 2141 + 1 hour. Day Light Saving commences this weekend. Of course these plans are subject to Mother nature. So if the seas or winds are not favourable to a trip outside the heads, a get together at Dark Hole is always enjoyable and safe October 15 Boating Safety Education Session St George Motor Boat Club is holding a Boating Safety Education Session in the Sapphire Room at the club from 9.30am to 11.30am. This session will be held for all St George Motor Boat Club boating folk, including those in the sub-clubs and those in the Marina berths at the Club.
