The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. and adjourned at 8:23 p.m. 1. Approval of Agenda CYC036-2018 That the Agenda for the meeting of June 21, 2018, be approved, as printed and circulated. 2. Declarations of Interest under the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act - nil 3. Previous Minutes 3.1. Minutes - - May 17, 2018 The minutes will be considered at the Planning and Development Committee on September 10, 2018, and recommendations pending approval by Council on September 12, 2018. The minutes were provided for Committee's information only. 4. Delegations / Presentations 4.1. Presentation by Lisa Stokes, Member, re: 2018 Bike Summit Lisa Stokes, Member, provided a presentation on the Ontario Bike Summit 2018 which included the following: Toronto bike tour Secure bike stations Queen s Quay Puente de Luz Bridge 125m Denision contra flow Adelaide Sherbourne River Street Bloor St. Pilot Lakeshore Bicycle Friendly Communities Beyond the Public Information Centre Hamilton bike share stations Greenway Greenway-continued version 1, version 2, version 3 2018 06 21 Page 2 of 5

Advisory Lanes Innovative Active Transportation Engagement There was discussion regarding the following: Alternate signage being installed on the Etobicoke Creek Trail Possibility of implementing a bike share program CYC037-2018 That the presentation by Lisa Stokes, Member, to the Cycling Advisory Committee Meeting of June 21, 2018, re: 2018 Bike Summit be received. 5. Reports / Updates nil 6. Active Transportation Ideas - nil 7. Other/New Business / Information Items 7.1. Discussion at the request of Lisa Stokes, Member, re: How to plan for 2019 Community Rides There was consensus amongst Committee members that the organization and implementation of the Community Bike Rides be undertaken by the current committee. The Committee will work toward providing information prior to the deadline to include the information in the City of Brampton Parks and Recreation booklet. 7.2. Update by Lisa Stokes, Member, re: 2018 Spring Sweeping Program Lisa Stokes, Member, provided an update regarding the 2018 Spring Sweeping program and advised that the program ran from May 7 June 15, 2018. Ms. Stokes advised that she will be sending correspondence to the City of Brampton call centre regarding specific pathways that have not been swept or are still in poor condition. 2018 06 21 Page 3 of 5

8. Future Agenda Items Minutes 8.1. Update by Pauline Thornham, Member, re: Peel Safe and Active Routes to School (PSARTS) Pauline Thornham, Member, provided a brief overview of the Peel Safe and Active Routes to School (PSARTS) meeting notes. There was discussion regarding the following: Clarification provided regarding the 5-2-1-0 model Possibility of organizing presentations at schools to educate students and families Active Transportation school funding being applied for to support a facilitator $100,000 CYC038-2018 That the verbal update from Pauline Thornton, Member, to the Cycling Advisory Committee Meeting of June 21, 2018, re: Peel Safe and Active Routes to School (PSARTS), be received. 9. Correspondence nil 10. Question Period In response to questions from Committee, staff advised that the information cards mailed out to residents with respect to the Franceschini Bridge were distributed to residences within an 800 meter radius. 11.
