Men s Basketball Head Coach Jimmy Booth is from Cedar Springs and graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 2004. He has received his bachelor s in religious education at Grace Bible College and a bachelor s in business management at Davenport University. Entering his first year as the head coach. Jimmy has been an assistant coach for the MCC men s basketball program for five years, including the 2015-16 season when the team went 24-7 season and finished ranked eighth in the nation, and the 2016-17 season when the team finished 22-7 and won the Western Conference title. He was the assistant coach for the boys varsity basketball team at Cedar Springs High School for three years. Booth also assisted in running the Youth Rocket program, coaching kids in third through fifth grade. Coach Booth is also the assistant athletic director at MCC, director of Intramural Sports, and an adjunct instructor in the MCC Health and Physical Education Department. In high school, he was a three-year varsity player under former MCC head coach Dave Schlump. During his junior and senior year he recovered all-area first team all-conference honors. As a senior, he was a captain and key contributor in helping team finish a perfect 20-0 in the regular season and win its first conference championship in over 25 years. After high school, Booth played at MCC for one year under Coach Gene Gifford before transferring to Grace Bible College, where he played his final three years. His first year at Grace he helped lead them to its first National Championship in the NCCAA, while also earning several individual honors. At the time Booth s graduation, he left as the all-time leading rebounder and sixth all-time in scoring. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for nine years and currently reside in Sparta, Michigan. Coach Booth is currently pursuing his master s degree in Sports Administration from Wayne State University. 4 2017-2018 Basketball

Men s Basketball Assistant Coaches Anthony Crump is from Muskegon and graduated from Muskegon High School in 2004. He has his bachelor s degree in kinesiology with minor in coaching from Jarvis Christian College in 2012. Anthony was the assistant coach for the varisty team at Jarvis Christian High School and the head coach for the JV team. Crump was the assistant coach in the 2014-2015 season at Muskegon High School for the freshman team, and in 2013-2014 was the assistant coach for the middle school. He was also an assistant coach for the West Michigan Lake Hawks during the 2015-2016 season. Crump played his 4 years of high school on the varisty team for both basketball and football at Muskegon High School. While in college he played for the GVSU football team from 2005-2007 in the NCAA DII. Anthony then came to MCC to play basketball (NJCAA DII) from 2007-2009. And in 2010 he played basketball at Jarvis Christian College in the NAIA Division 1. During his professional years he played basketball for the West Michigan Lake Hawks for 2 seasons (2013-14 and 2014-15) and played football for the Muskegon Mustangs in the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Anthony currently resides in Muskegon, MI with his son Julius. Darryl Greene has worked in the basketball industry for more than twenty years on the college and professional levels. Most recently, he toured with the Harlem Globetrotters as a referee and served as a player scout. In 2016, Darryl founded the National Basketball League of America, an exposure basketball league for former college athletes looking to play professionally. From 2010-2014, he served as an assistant coach for the men s varsity program and head JV coach at Dakota Wesleyan University. During his time at DWU, the team appeared in the NAIA national tournament, won conference titles and produced several All-Americans. From 2012-2014, Darryl was the Director of Player Personnel for the Windsor Express where he recruited the head coach and signed key players to the first year franchise. The Express won back-to-back National Basketball League of Canada championships in 2014 and 2015. Prior to his time with the Express, Darryl worked as an assistant coach with the Minot Skyrockets of the CBA and was team owner and general manager of the Detroit Pros in the International Basketball League. Darryl s playing background consists of high school, college and professional basketball. He received Michigan all-state honors at Inkster High School and set the record for single season and assist per game at Minnesota State University, Moorhead. After college, Darryl signed a professional basketball contract with the Fargo-Moorhead Fever of the CBA and participated in NBA division summer pro leagues. Following his playing career, Darryl became certified with the National Basketball Players Association as a certified player agent. While serving as an agent, he negotiated contracts with professional basketball teams in Europe, Asia, South America and the United States. 2017-2018Basketball 5
