PAGEANT EVENTS Low Glitz Beauty- Mandatory 50 points Red, White & Blue Wear (RWB Wear)- Mandatory 40 points Best Photo- Mandatory 10 points Outfit of Choice- Optional (this can replace RWB score) 40 points Interview- Optional (this can replace RWB score) 40 points Talent- Optional (this can replace RWB score) 40 points Time limit for Beauty is 2 min, of course they do not have to use the entire 2 min. Children 2 years and under MUST have an adult accompany them on stage. Contestants will be judged on Stage Presence, Attire (how it suits the child & fit), Personality, Confidence and Facial Beauty. There will be a line up for this event, if you miss line up, you will not be eligible for divisional side awards (Best Hair, Best Dressed, Best Eyes, etc.) RWB Wear is very open. This can be a casual outfit or a themed outfit! The time limit is 2 min. Props are allowed, but need to be easy to get on and off stage. Contestants will be judged on Attire (originality & fit), Personality, Confidence, and Stage Presence. YOU MAY USE CUSTOM MUSIC FOR THIS. The judges will choose their favorite photo of you (whether Natural, Print Model or Glitz) and score that ONE photo to go towards your overall score. Photos will be judged on Photogenic Beauty, Quality/Clarity of Photo, and Overall First Impression. This event is OPTIONAL and can replace your RWB Score. OOC is open. Anything goes for this event. Custom music is allowed. Props are allowed, but need to be easy to get on and off stage. Contestants will be judged on Attire (originality & fit), Personality, Confidence, and Stage Presence. YOU MAY USE CUSTOM MUSIC FOR THIS. This event is OPTIONAL and can replace your RWB Score. Interview will be held FRIDAY evening during Registration. Contestants should wear their Stars & Stripes T Shirt with any type of white bottoms and any shoes. Hair and make up should be natural and age appropriate. NO glitz hair or make up for this event. Contestants will be judged on First Impression (appearance & grooming), Personality & Confidence, Ability to Answer Questions (according to age) and Natural Facial Beauty. This event is OPTIONAL and can replace your RWB Score. Talent is open. Anything goes for this event. Custom music is allowed. Props are allowed but need to be easy to get on and off stage. Contestants will be judged on Personality & Confidence, Difficulty for Age, Showmanship, and Execution. YOU MAY USE CUSTOM MUSIC FOR THIS.
PAGEANT EVENTS (Continued) Mommy & Me/ Daddy & Me- Optional Mom Beauty Competition- Optional The Mommy & Me / Daddy & Me competition consists of a routine including the child and a parent or grandparent. The adult does not have to be the mom, just some adult with relation to the child. Can be any type of routine. This is a fun extra competition that the kids just LOVE. This event is double crowned. For mothers or guardians of contestants only. This competition consists of ONLY a Beauty Walk in a formal gown or suit. These participants will not be competing against the children for the supreme titles and regular titles but for a separate Mom Beauty title. The kids LOVE to see Mommy up there strutting her stuff too! Additional Optional Door Titles will be added closer to the pageant. Remember these are all optional and just add more opportunities for your little one to get his or her hands on that big crown!

Cook Children s Hospital Benefit People s Choice Award (Charity Benefit) There will be three special titles called the People's Choice Award. ALL PROCEEDS from the People's Choice Award will go to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, TX! 1st place for People's Choice will get a beautiful 5.5" crown, 2 ft. trophy, and a Surprise Gift that will be revealed at the pageant! There will be a 2nd and 3rd place winner as well who will receive a Crown and Trophy! Whichever contestants receive the most votes, wins. Votes are $1 per vote and will be voted on at the pageant. So let's say you round up $50 from friends/family/sponsors for votes, then your child will get 50 votes. Turn in your vote money to our volunteer at the front table and tell her it's for your child's votes. She will add 50 votes to your child's name. If you get more money for votes later in the day, you or anyone else can come add votes to your child's name. If you would like to get "votes" from your family members and friends, ahead of time, you can give them Thank You for Your Vote Tickets in appreciation if you would like. Contact the director for these tickets. The People's Choice Award is a double crowning opportunity so you could win Ultimate Grand or any other title and still win People's Choice as well.
Registration Registration will be Friday, July 10 th from 2-7:30pm at the MCM Fun Dome Hotel. At registration, you will pay your balance and turn in your photo(s). If you are not able to make it to registration, let one of the directors know ahead of time, so you can make other arrangements. What is Allowed for Low Glitz????? For our Stars and Stripes Low Glitz Pageant, Low to Semi Glitz dresses will be allowed for Beauty (light to medium beading and stoning). No Cupcake Style Dresses. No flippers (false teeth). Please Read General Information During the Beauty Walk, the emcee will read each contestants Emcee Sheet this form is on the pageant website at www.texasglitz.com and must be completed by the Monday before the pageant. Custom music is allowed for RWB Wear, OOC and Talent. Music will need to be emailed to the director (mp3 version) no later than the Tuesday before the pageant. NO CD s. Music MUST BE 2 minutes or LESS! If you need music edited for you, the charge is $15 per song. Pageant Rules- 1. Bad sportsmanship WILL NOT be tolerated. Any contestant or parent/guardian displaying such behavior will be asked to leave and no refund will be given. No exceptions. We want this to be a positive and fun environment for everyone. If you display bad sportsmanship before, during or after the pageant, your title may be taken from you. This will be up to the director s discretion. Just BE NICE 2. Score sheets and photos will be handed out AFTER crowning is over. If you win a Supreme title you must stay for pictures after crowning. 3. We will have a professional photographer there for all your needs. The photo CD is $35.00 and can be paid for at registration. Photos will be taken of each and every child, whether the CD is purchased or not, so you can always order one after the pageant ads well. 4. Contestants 2 & under must be accompanied by an adult on stage for line up and crowning. 5. Everyone, with the exception of the contestant, will be required to wear a entry bracelet at all times during the pageant. One entry bracelet will be included in each entry. Additional entry bracelets will be available at the door and at registration for $10 each. Every bracelet purchased will also enter your name into a raffle. 6. Everyone must send in a deposit. You will not be considered a contestant or placed in line up until your deposit and entry form is received. Enter first child at full price, and second child receives $30 off their entry price. 7. Crowning shirts will be worn for crowning along with any bottoms 8. For Low Glitz, the following is allowed: natural looking tan, fake nails, false eyelashes and custom outfits.
