Shouldice Park Information In order to maintain and preserve the facilities we ask that you respect the facilities and adhere to the following guidelines and policies: 1. Only players, coaches, officials and trainers allowed on the field. 2. No hard nylon cleats, metal cleats or plastic cleats allowed on the Artificial Turf Field. Small rubber cleats (a specialized artificial turf shoe) or running shoes are recommended. 3. No smoking or chewing tobacco allowed on the field or in the locker rooms. 4. No sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, gum or other food or drink (excluding water) is allowed on the turf. Sport Drinks NOT allowed on turf. 5. Locker rooms are to be left clean with all garbage (used tape, etc.) to be put in the garbage bins. Locker rooms will be inspected before and after teams use them. 6. Clean shoes prior to going onto turf. 7. Keep area around benches clean. Any breach of these policies or guidelines may result in fines. Thank you for your cooperation. Parking ensure all players and spectators adhere to the parking signs. Parking is available at Shouldice Park. Buses are not permitted to drop the teams off at the entrance to Hellard Field. Buses must go directly to the designated bus parking area directly west of the locker rooms. Please follow the onsite signs. There is a committee of volunteers who will direct traffic throughout the weekend. Press Box only game/team officials (no spectators) are allowed in the Press Box at the top of the bleachers. Press Box Passes will be given to teams at practice the day before their Championship games. Only individuals with passes will be permitted. Admission All teams are requested to arrive as a group and in uniform/warm-up attire to facilitate entry at the admission gate. Only athletes and coaches who are listed on the official registration will be permitted free access to the facilities. Tickets will be sold for each game and spectators must present these tickets upon entry to each game. Game Pass *All prices are per game Adults $10.00 Students $ 5.00 Seniors $ 5.00 12 and under FREE Concession There will be a concession truck parked outside the gates into Hellard Football Field. Fans will have to briefly exit Hellard Field through the main gates, to purchase concession items. Tickets must be kept for reentry in the football stadium. Cash can only be used to purchase drinks and food.

Attendance and payment at the breakfast is compulsory for all team members and coaches, as per ASAA policy. All teams will fill out the banquet fees form that is available on-line on the host website at http://provincials.asaa.ca prior to November 19 th, 2013. Payment for the banquet, $27.00 / person must be made out to the CSHSAA. The list of team attendees must be submitted to Celeste Bazinet @ celeste.bazinet@cssd.ab.ca on the 19 th of November, 2013 Team registration, $550 as noted below and banquet fee collection will take place from 9:00-9:30 am at the ASAA registration table. Cheques made payable to Alberta Schools Athletic Association. Tournament Entry Fees As per ASAA Policy, Section XII, F.1, each team participating in provincial playoffs will be charged an entry fee as follows: quarterfinalists are charged $275; semifinalists are charged an additional $175; and finalists are charged an additional $100. The entry fee will cover officials fees for all provincial games. The ASAA will invoice the participating schools for the Registration Fee. Media Availability session Each team is requested to have one coach and one player available for the media to interview. First Aid / Emergency Medical Registered Athletic Trainers will be will be provided on site at Shouldice Park ASAA Code of Ethics Please refer to the 2012-13 ASAA Policy Handbook Pages 26-34. Grievance/Discipline Committee Grievance/Discipline committees serve two key functions at the ASAA provincials. The first function is to deal with matters that occur during competition, typically discipline/conduct types of issues, and appeals that may arise from ejections, while the second function is to handle any other matters that arise that require dispute resolution. Alberta Bowl Grievance Committee will be made up of the ASAA Football Commissioner, representative from the officials association, and a member of the ASAA Executive Committee. Football Policy Please refer to the 2012-13 ASAA Policy Handbook Pages 95-101 Results Game scores and final results will be updated regularly on the ASAA Provincial Football Website. Official stats from each game will also be uploaded after the conclusion of each game. Final scores can also be found on the Football Alberta website. Sportsmanship The Alberta Schools Athletic Association highly value sportsmanship in all their activities. Athletes seen demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship, ethics, fairplay and integrity will be selected by a small Sportsmanship Committee and awarded individual Sportsmanship Pins following each match. Football is a great deal like life in that it teaches that work, sacrifice, perseverance, competitive drive, selflessness and respect for authority is the price that each and every one of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile. ~Vince Lombardi~
