Come to the Check-in Party and pick up your participant kit, shop at The Color Run Store, and meet other runners. Please remember to bring a printed or digital copy of your confirmation email with the QR code. To find your confirmation email, please search your inbox for "Registration Confirmation for The Color Run." You can also pick up kits for your friends and teammates provided you have a copy of their confirmation email as well. start window SATURDAY, MARCH 26 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM Fair Park Dallas 1818 1st Avenue Dallas, TX 75210 The start-line window will open at 8 AM with waves going every few minutes until 9 AM! Make sure you plan your day with plenty of time. At The Color Run, the start line is its own pre-race party with music, dancing, warm-up stretching and giveaways! Please note: There are no lockers or bag drop facilities, so arrive ready to run. Plan to keep any items you bring with you, or leave valuables at home. at the run getting there Parking will be at Fair Park (Map on page 7, instructions on pages 8-9). Please follow the parking staff instructions upon arrival. We highly encourage you to arrive early for this event. With hundreds of other participants coming, you ll want to avoid the rush right before the race. We encourage you to pick up your packet early and hang out with us, rather than waiting until right before the event. Please plan on being at the venue early. Buckle up and drive safe out there!
need to know REGISTRATION INCLUDES You will receive your t-shirt, headband, tattoos, and your bib at check-in*. You will receive your Tropicolor Medal and Color Packs when you cross the finish line. Please make sure to wear your race bib on race day! *If you ordered the Deluxe Kit you will also receive sunglasses, a lei, and a hat. Classic Plus and Deluxe Kits will be mailed to you. Flo-Foto Flo-Foto will be at the event. Make sure your race bib is visible and smile for the camera! Visit http://flo-foto.com/thecolorrun and have your race bib number to get started. Photos will be available for download and purchase approx. 5 days after the event. RUNNING WITH CHILDREN Participants who will be running with children are encouraged to pick up a wristband for their child. You can pick up a wristband at the check-in party. The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a topranked nonprofit relief organization, providing access to more than 170,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families through a network of more than 1,000 programs and 200 Partner Agencies in our 13-county service area. In fiscal year 2015, NTFB provided access to some 63 million meals but the need for hunger relief in North Texas today is much larger. To combat increasing food insecurity in North Texas, the Food Bank recently launched a 10-year plan to provide access to 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025, a nearly 50 percent increase from the current output. NTFB is a member of Feeding America, a national hunger relief organization.
DON T FORGET SAFETY FIRST Alcohol is not allowed at The Color Run. The Color Run is a non-smoking event Runners please keep to the left; walkers and participants with strollers, etc. keep to the right. If running with small children, please watch and direct them through the race. If you are concerned at all with any part of the run, feel free to wear safety glasses, a bandana, or dust mask. reminders To find lost items or to be reunited with friends, our Lost & Found area will be located at/near the Check-in tent. Please attach your bib number so it is visible on your shirt. This is how you will be identified as a Color Runner. Teams may run in a group or separately. It is completely up to you! Friends and family are welcome to meet up with participants in the general festival areas. Only Color Runners will be allowed in the finish chute area. event Sponsors Please follow any directions provided by race officials, volunteers, and law enforcement.
