The Hospital is a recognized leader in Cardiovascular Care, Oncology, Women s Health, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and the Neurosciences, all of which offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging capabilities. The Hospital is a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. The BRRH as been the tournament s main beneficiary since it s inception in 2007. Allianz Birdie Challenge At the 2014 Allianz Championship, Allianz Life implemented the Allianz Birdie Challenge. The challenge was designed for all fans to follow the tournament on social media and tweet #AllianzBirdies. For every tweet with the hashtag AllianzBirdies, Allianz Life donated $1 to the Junior Achievement of South Florida which resulted in a $25,000 donation. Moabery Champions Challenge The Moabery Champions Challenge was created at the 2013 Allianz Championship where local businessmen and philanthropist, Abdol Moabery and his wife Kathy would personally pledge $1,000 per birdie and $5,000 for each eagle scored by the current year defending champion. In just two years MCC raised $53,000 to benefit Boca Regional s Toppel Family Place Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Military Appreciation In 2014 the Allianz Championship honored Captain Ben Harrow, a decorated Afghanistan war hero, with a $15,000 check for the Gary Sinese Foundation during the opening tee shot. A viewer on the Golf Channel then called in and made a contribution of $30,000 totaling $45,000 donation. Also on the final day of the tournament, South Florida Marines tended the flag for all Champions TOUR professionals on the 18th hole to honor all our military heroes.
