All horses must be registered with the American Miniature Horse Association. This show is a triple judge. Each judge will award point and ribbons/award. Judges Evaluation Reports will be available in the show office, and may be completed on a voluntary basis. Any exhibitor with Special Needs is welcome to participate in all shows. Youth and Amateur card applications will be available in the show office.
Tennessee Miniature Horse Celebration 2018 AMHA Miniature Horse Show April 8, 2018 General Rules and Information ENTRY FEES: Open, Amateur, and Liberty Classes - $30.00 Youth Classes and Special Needs- $25.00 Flat Fee Per Horse - $150.00 (10 class limit Liberty not included) Flat Fee Entries MUST be postmarked and paid for by March 26, 2018. No EXCEPTIONS! No new entries will be accepted after the deadline. You may add classes prior to the start of the show at regular class fees. NO CLASSES WILL BE ADDED AT THE GATE. All participants in the class must be in the computer before the class starts. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to make sure they are in the correct class! -- Senior Stallions MUST have a Stallion verification report on file with the show manager in order to show. STALLS: $60.00 (Friday-Sunday close of Show) - maximum 2 horses per stall). Additional night of stalling is $20.00 per night per stall. Shavings will be available during show office hours for a fee. Pre-order of shavings will not be available. You may bring your own shavings. Stall fee is the same for tack stalls. All reserved stalls will be charged whether you use them or not. Please be accurate with your stall reservation number. If you reserve stalls and do not show up, you will be billed for the reserved stalls. Stall cleanings are to be dumped in designated areas ONLY. Please make sure you have a copy of your current coggins and health certificate available at all times for the state veterinary. MEASURING: Measuring will take place on Friday from 4pm - 6pm; Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am-8:00 am. All horses must be measured. Please have your registration papers available for identification. Exhibitor packets and numbers will be issued after measurements. Hardship measuring will also be available during the listed times above. AWARDS: REFUNDS: Ribbons/or awards will be given for 1 st through 6 th place in each class. Ribbons/Sashes or awards will be given to Supreme Halter Horses. No refunds will be given. Substitutions are accepted. NO REFUNDS on stall fees. ENTRIES DUE: Entry deadline is March 26, 2018. All entry forms, copies of BOTH sides of AMHA registration papers of each horse, lease agreements, senior stallion verification, copy of youth and/or Amateur cards, and a check/money order for payment of classes, stalls, AMHA fees, etc. are to be sent to the Show Manager, Dixi A. Cohea. Checks are to be made payable to TMHV. Any check not honored by bank will be charged a $50.00 fee and referred to parent organization for disciplinary action. CONDUCT: Evidence of any cruelty, abuse or inhumane treatment to a horse, in or out of the ring, will not be tolerated by the Show Management and shall result in disqualification of the horse and that exhibitor for the balance of that show. The offender will be barred from the show area for the duration of the show. The results shall be the forfeiture of all trophies, ribbons, awards, and points for that show. The Show Manager shall notify AMHA of any such disqualification when show results are reported. Show Management reserves the right to expel any exhibitor or attendee for violating the rules of the facility and or show. As per AMHA Rule 132, all Association representatives shall be treated with courtesy, cooperation, and respect, and no person shall direct abusive or threatening conduct toward them. Anyone violating this rule may face further disciplinary action from the AMHA. VENDORS: Vendor spaces are $100.00 for the weekend (Friday Evening Sunday Close of Show). SHOW MANAGER: Dixi A.
