These classes are designed to help develop the ABCs of movement - Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed. TIME: Mondays 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm Basic Skills 1 (ages 6-17) Teaches the FUNdamentals of ice skating and provides BROOMBALL & SNEAKER HOCKEY This game is similar to ice hockey, but played on a rough ice surface while wearing rubber-soled shoes. Get a group together (25 person minimum) and reserve the ice for $8 per person per hour. the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, and speedskating. TIME: Mon. 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm Basic Skills 2-6 (ages 6-17) Progressive levels introduce forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns. TIME: Mon. 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm Hockey 1-4 (ages 6-10) This hockey curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating. TIME: Mon. 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm Adult 1-6 Program will help promote physical fitness and improve balance and coordination while teaching proper skating techniques. BIRTHDAY PARTIES ICE SKATING PARTY Looking for a really cool idea for your next party? How about ice skating at the coolest place in town that offers year-round fun. Our party packages make it easy on mom and dad we provide the pizza, drinks, cake and ice cream. We even give the birthday child a t-shirt! Just show up and skate; your personal party host will take care of the rest. Two hours of celebration can be yours for $18 per child (minimum of 10 guests). Add the Bounce House for $4 per person, or include a 15-minute group skating lesson for $15 per party. Please no outside food or beverage. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. BOUNCE HOUSE PARTY Some kids never get tired of bouncing. If you know a kid like this, our Bounce House party package is just the thing to make their birthday dreams come true. For $18 per child (minimum of 10), our two-hour party package includes a private party room where your personal party host will serve pizza, drinks, cake, ice cream and all the bouncing your guests can handle. HOCKEY JUNIOR TIGERS LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY An introductory hockey class for children ages 4-14. Previous skating experience is required. Each 60-minute session meets once a week for 8 weeks. TIME: Mondays 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm 2017 Session 3: Apr. 24 - Jun. 19 Session 4: Jun. 26 - Aug. 14 Session 5: Aug. 21 - Oct. 16 Session 6: Oct. 23 - Dec. 11 2018 Session 1: Jan. 8 - Feb. 26 Session 2: Mar. 5 - Apr. 23 Session 3: Apr. 30 - Jun. 25 Session 4: Jul. 2 - Aug. 20 FEE: $100 ($125 Out of County) + $47 Annual USA Hockey Membership. ADULT HOCKEY LEAGUE Join your fellow hockey enthusiasts (18 and older) for some recreational play. Leagues run year-round and consist of 10 games plus single elimination playoffs. Periods are 17-minute running clock. The Pavilion provides two officials and a scorekeeper. Full equipment is required. (Winter: January - April / Summer: May - August / Fall: September - December). B League (Advanced): For players who have previously played organized competitive hockey. Game Slots: Mondays C League (Intermediate): For players with average experience in team play. Game Slots: Thursdays and Sundays HOUSE AND TRAVEL YOUTH HOCKEY House and Travel Youth Leagues available through the Greater Greenville Hockey Association. HOMESCHOOL P.E. Send your child to Homeschool P.E. at the Pavilion! This 9-week program introduces children to a great variety of activities focusing on a new opportunity each week. A weekly newsletter keeps parents posted on what s coming up. Be sure to register in advance as space is limited! Children will enjoy participating in ice skating, tennis, swimming, horseback riding, soccer and more. DATE: Class meets on Wednesday mornings. Fall 2017 session dates: Aug. 23 - Oct. 18. Spring 2018 session dates: Jan. 10 - Mar. 7. Times may vary upon activity. FEE: $90 ($115 Out of County) AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM The Pavilion is cool for after-school. Kids get homework assistance and a chance to stretch their legs with athletics, skating, the Bounce House and games in a safe, supervised environment. Pickup is available from Buena Vista, Woodland, Lake Forest, Pelham Road, Mitchell Road, and Brushy Creek Elementary Schools. FEE: 10 monthly installments of $165 + $40 Registration Fee SUMMER DAY CAMPS MAKE IT A SUMMER TO REMEMBER! Kids will enjoy a week jam-packed with skating, the Bounce House, trips to the fabulous Greenville County Rec waterparks, games, athletics, nature study, arts and crafts and more. Camp Pavilion is for children entering 1st - 6th grades & the Wanderers Teen Camp is for students entering 7th - 10th grades. Camp dates correspond with Greenville County Schools summer vacation. Games consist of 12-minute quarters, officiated by certified officials and scorekeepers. Full equipment is required; team jerseys will be provided. For ages 15 through adult. The Pavilion s dog park features separate areas for large and small dogs and is open from dawn to dusk. COMMUNITY GARDEN Grow your own food or flowers with your very own community garden plot!
