This modern dressage horse has a supple and https://medium.com/@sixpoundfarm/kwpn na report from the road 2426ab50a368#.36vq47t2f 1/7
powerful trot, with very good articulation of her joints (trot score of 8.5). She could be taller standing in front of us, but she shows a lot of uphill tendency. With 75 for her conformation and 80 for her movement, Isabella earned the high score ribbon for adult Dressage horses. The mare Heavenly ISF (UB40 x Toscane Ster Preferent by Cabochon; Owner: Burns Dressage LLC., Breeder: Iron Spring Farm) got her ster predicate today also. Heavenly has a muscled and well proportioned body and showed powerful movement. She could be more light footed in her trot. The high score young Dressage horses award was earned by the well developed yearling Kenny G S.E. (Sir Donnerhall x Bardot SE Ster by Florencio Keur; Owner: Teresa Crater, Breeder: Siegi Belz-Fry), he looks like what a dressage yearling should look like. This very well proportioned, elegant gelding is light footed and uphill in his movement. His trot is expressive with good use of the hindleg and his canter is well balanced with good length of stride. Kenny G S.E. scored 80 for conformation and movement. Also Kid Rock S.E. (Sir Donnerhall II x Volimbria by Contango; O/B: Siegi Belz-Fry) earned a first premium with 78 conformation and 75 for movement. This well developed yearling has a very expressive front end and strong connections in his topline. He moves with good length of stride and reach in his front leg. Four Dressage foals were selected for the championship round from a good sized group of 13. The long lined colt Logan ISF (Contango Preferent x Bicara Elite by Sorento; O/B: Iron Spring Farm) has a very good use of his hindleg. This supports the uphill movement with good suspension we saw today. Second placed foal was the colt Leviathan (Desperado x Hester Elite IBOP-DR PROK by Apache; Owner: Alice Tarjan, Breeder: M.Tijssen) who also has a supple and expressive trot and canter. This colt could be more developed, but is very elegant and correctly built. Third was the filly Lysandra SCF (Negro Preferent x Divine SCF by Krack C; O/B: Dr. Carlos & Karin Jimenez). This well developed and proportionate foal has a good dressage type and a well balanced canter. Fourth place was also for a Contango youngster, the filly Lapis ISF (Contango Preferent x Ballerina Ceroon Elite Sport-DR by Oscar; O/B: Iron Spring Farm). This longlined foal has good technique in her legs, with sufficient uphill tendency. https://medium.com/@sixpoundfarm/kwpn na report from the road 2426ab50a368#.36vq47t2f 2/7
High point young Jumper was the filly Love Child SCF (Canabis Z x Marie Louise Elite Preferent Prestatie by Silvio I, O/B: Dr. Carlos & Karin Jimenez), this foal has a good jumper type with correct legs. The canter is well balanced with good suspension. Two horses succeeded in the IBOP. The hunter, Ismael (Numero Uno x Daniella Keur IBOP-SP by Ultimo; Owner: Equine Holdings LLC, Breeder: W. Van De Heuvel) has a athletic and big strided canter. He is careful and has good overview of the jumps. The use of his frontleg is somewhat open, but Ismael shows good bascule and scope over the jumps. Additionally, the very careful 3 year old mare Ivana Jump (Lupicor x Donnaludine by Whitaker) passed her IBOP. She has a very quick and upward take off, with very good use of her frontleg. She shows sufficient bascule and opening of her haunches. Ivana Jump scored an 8,5 for her reflexes.
