MISSED LESSONS When deciding on the number of lessons included in a riding package each school term, we take into consideration school breaks, Professional Development Days, Outdoor Education Trips, assemblies, field trips, etc. However, we realize from time-to-time absences may cause a student to fall behind in their term lesson count despite these considerations. Make- Up Lessons are only available when the student is NOT going to meet the term lesson count. With the exception of illness, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a riding lesson. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, the lesson will be considered a no show and will NOT be eligible for a Make-Up Lesson. If a rider chooses to attend an alternative School event such as sports meets, games, etc., instead of their regular riding lesson, it is the responsibility of the student and parents to inform the Equestrian Office at equestrian@qms.bc.ca. Make-up lessons will be held on Fridays both within the time table and after school, throughout the school year. As we have a full schedule at the Equestrian Centre, please mark your calendar with the Make-Up Lesson dates below.
