The Course The Turner Valley Golf Club dates back to 1930, when it was created by the employees of Royalite Oil, the company that was responsible for the development of local oil reserves. Originally a 9-hole course with sand greens, the Turner Valley Golf Club now boasts an 18hole layout that spans between 4100 and 6800 yards, depending on which of the 6 tee options you choose to fit your game. The course is characterized by its challenging and treelined fairways with small, well protected greens, all amongst breathtaking views in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains. Our club offers a full service Pro Shop, featuring all the latest in hard goods and the newest fashions in merchandise. Our Pro Shop team will provide you with excellent customer service and product knowledge. The Royalite Grill is a fully licensed Restaurant and Outdoor Patio with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Embrace our peaceful atmosphere while enjoying a great meal and great service. Tournament Formats FULL SHOTGUN All golfers start at the same time. This permits everyone to finish at the same time. Minimum 100 players, Maximum 144 players MODIFIED SHOTGUN- AM ONLY Golfers start and finish at the same times while not meeting the required 100 golfers for a full shotgun. Minimum 32 players, Maximum 96 players CONSECUTIVE TEE TIMES This is ideal for a smaller group that does not meet the required 32 players. FULL SHOTGUN TIMES will occur at the following times for the 2018 season. May - end of August 9:00 am or 2:00 pm (times may vary) until September 15th 10:00 am ONLY 2018 SEASON 3
Tournament Rates All fees are for golf only, per player plus GST. Monday & Thursday $67 Friday $77 Saturday & Sunday $87 Please ask about 9 hole rates. PRICE INCLUDES 18 Holes of Golf Power Carts $15 Pro Shop Prize Credit Dedicated Tournament Coordinator will arrange the following: Complimentary Range Access Registration Set-up Cart Staging Hole Contest set up and pick up Draw Sheet Scorecards and cart plates for each team Starting Announcements and Rules On course Marshaling Meal Options-Extra: A meal must be included for all Tournaments. Course Guidelines Please make your tournament participants aware of the following Club policies: DRESS CODE 1. Muscle shirts, halter tops and similar attire are not permitted. 2. Sweat shorts, sweat pants, cutoffs and the like are not permitted. 3. Tee shirts with large and/or offensive logos are not permitted. 4. Shorts, skirts and skorts must be tailored and of reasonable length. 5. Jeans may be worn. 6. All clothing must be clean and free of rips and tatters. 7. No hiking boots, soccer cleats, work or cowboy boots or metal spiked shoes are permitted. PACE OF PLAY Slow Play is not acceptable. In an effort to maximize enjoyment for all players, each group is asked to maintain their position on the course by keeping up to the group in front. Pace of Play will be monitored and groups that fall out of position will be asked to take corrective action. POWER CARTS & RENTAL CLUBS Tournaments will be held responsible for any and all damage to the power carts. Rental clubs are available in both right and left hand. Any player losing or breaking a club will be held financially responsible. Each player must have clubs. LICENSED BEVERAGE SERVICES For all Tournaments, all alcohol must be provided by the Turner Valley Golf Course.
