Cavalier Dugout Club P.O. Box 133054 The Woodlands, TX 77393 Fall 2017 Dear Cavalier Baseball Friend, Can you believe it? Our baseball program is kicking off its 13 th year! We are continuing to develop outstanding baseball players under head coach, Jason Washburn. Coach Washburn continues to build a winning tradition by instilling leadership qualities in his student-athletes. The Cavalier Dugout Club is organizing the 13 th Annual Co-Ed softball tournament fundraiser SLUGFEST 2017. This 2 day tournament will take place on December 1 st and 2 nd at the ORWALL & SMGSL Sports Complexes located at 1130 Pruitt Rd. Spring, TX, 77380. In years past, we ve had a great response from the community with over 700 parents and students participating in this event and many more enjoying as spectators. We are asking for your support by donating (an item, service, gift certificate or cash) for the Slugfest Fundraiser. Specifically we are in need of donations for our concessions area. Your donation will play a vital role in the success of our baseball program by allowing us to purchase much needed equipment and facilities not covered by the school district and provide scholarships for student athletes to further their education. We invite you to come out on December 1 st and 2 nd and see for yourself the fun and excitement that Slugfest creates for our community. In advance, we want to thank you for your generous donation and support for the College Park Cavalier Baseball program. Sincerely, Melissa Cameron 2017 Slugfest Chairman Please keep this letter for your tax records: The Cavalier Dugout Club is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 Charitable Organization Federal Tax ID #20-2952653 In compliance with IRS regulations, acknowledges that no goods or services were received in exchange for your donation.
