Wildswinkel Clients WILDSWINKEL Trophy & Hunt Timed Auction Wildswinkel is excited to be hosting another Trophy & Hunt auction, only this time we have decided to host the auction on our online platforms, the Wildswinkel App and website. The auction will be running from 21 24 of March 2018. If you are interested in presenting your hunting packages and/or trophy animals on the auction, please complete the form below with all the basic information and send it back to us on/or before 11 December 2017. We will inform you in writing on/or before 15 December 2017, to confirm whether entry has been successful or not Auction terms: The auction will be held on a no-reserve basis. Thus, if there is only one bid on a lot, the lot will be considered sold. The starting bid will be agreed upon between the Seller and Wildswinkel marketer and will strictly be in line with current market trends and prices. unrealistic prices will be considered. Strict terms and conditions apply to protect the interests of both the Buyer and Seller. Trophy/hunting animals presented on the auction, must be in a good and healthy condition. Trophy/hunting animals must be delivered without any ear tags, unless otherwise requested by the Buyer to the seller. Hunting packages presented on the auction must be described and planned as thoroughly as possible to prevent any misunderstanding or confusion.
We believe there can be distinguished between various tipes of hunting packages, therefore, for the purposes of the Wildswinkel Trophy & Hunt Auction, we describe the various tipes of hunting packages as follow: o Biltong package: includes the hunting of a production animal for the utilization of its meat. This includes both males and females. Trophy quality animals cannot be guaranteed in the package. o Trophy package: includes the hunting of any animal that is a good representative, with all the defining characteristics, of the specific species. Rowland ward animals cannot be guaranteed. o Rowland ward package: Includes the hunting of animals that qualify for the minimum Rowland Ward requirements. If your hunting package differs from our suggested description, it must be specified in writing A committee of marketers will evaluate all the applications thoroughly and through a strict selection process, Wildswinkel will decide which animals and hunting packages will be presented on the auction. The selection takes into consideration when the auction will take place, the tipe and location of the hunting package as well as the quality of the animals and hunting packages offered. A contract will be entered into between Wildswinkel and the Seller. The Contract applies to all hunting packages and animals presented on the auction. The complete terms and conditions will be attached to the contract Once the animals and hunting packages have been approved to be presented on the auction, the Seller will be notified in writing
Included in the Commision: Insurance conditions on Hunting/Trophy animals Wildswinkel Versekering Makelaars (Pty) Ltd will cover all trophy and hunting animals presented on the auction Insurance only includes Final Capture & Transit cover Insured animals must be uniquely identifiable, thus have a Microchip, to be eligible for cover Additional Capture and Boma cover can be arranged through Wildswinkel Versekering Makelaars (Pty) Ltd. Auction terms and conditions apply. Marketing strategy: - Marketing of the auction, auction animals and hunting packages will take place on different media platforms that will benefit the auction the most. The lots that will be advertised lies with the discretion of the Wildswinkel team - Wildswinkel platforms consist of the following: o Wildswinkel Email database 4920* o Wildswinkel App Users 8751* o Facebook page likes- 20652* o Instagram posts reach 6785* o Wildswinkel website 19 066* average views per month. Other platforms: - Printed media in the following magazines and platforms- Game & Hunt, Landbouweekblad, Wildlife Ranching SA and SA Jagters - Layout and design of a digital catalogue. - The auction platform Wildswinkel App and website Timed auction functionality. The commission payable for all these services will be 12% of the selling price of each lot sold at the auction, *Statistics as on 1 vember 2017
t Included in commission: All darting and measuring costs for the capturing of data. Transport of the animals to the buyer s premises after the auction. The seller must provide the necessary data and photos. If one or the other isn t 100% correct, the animals will not be considered for the specific auction. The capturing of data and photos can be arranged with Wildswinkel, should you not be able to do so yourself. Recommendation: o Wildswinkel recommends that all trophy/hunting buffalo bulls, to be presented on the auction, should be bled and tested at least 30 days prior to the auction to ensure that the blood test results are available before or on the auction. We firmly believe that this will add value to your bottom line. Following the written notification, the following will be needed: 1. Photos (minimum 2MB); 2. Photos of hunting area, accommodation, facilities, and hunting animals; 3. ALL information regarding the hunting packages that will be presented on the auction; 4. Full body photo suitable in a catalogue. (Resolution and size must be correct); 5. Photos of the horn measurements, together with a tag or microchip number; 6. Photos of the teeth, together with a tag or microchip number; 7. Horn measurements; 8. The standard measurements will be in Inches; 9. Important measurements are Roland Ward and SCI. SCI, especially with buffalo and wildebeest; 10. RW, length and base of both horns + Tip-to-Tip, Tips and rings were applicable; 11. Date measured; 12. Microchip number; 13. Age of animal/s when measured; 14. Age of animal/s on day of auction;
NB: All information, data and photos for the catalogue and app, must be submitted on/or before 02 March 2018. Keep in mind that we want to achieve the best possible price with the maximum amount of exposure.
