Wolves Biggest Fan in Kelowna In 2008, the Wolves travelled to Kelowna to take part in the International Midget AAA tournament. As is the usual practice on the Kelowna trip, some off-ice time was spent at Big White Resort. Players have the option to ski, go tubing, or play a bit of pond hockey. That year, many chose pond hockey. A young, enthusiastic hockey player, Owen Pritchard, was on the outdoor rink at the same time. In no time, Owen was playing with the Wolves as an honourary Wolf for the day. Recently, the Wolves received an email from Owen s Dad, David: Hello folks, I heard you were coming out to the local midget tourney again this year. Just wanted to let you know that your biggest local supporter will be there...my boy, Owen. Time Flies and Owen has grown as well. Tell your lads to keep their heads up on the pond at Big White! ;) Go Wolves Go!! The photo above was taken at Big White in 2008. The photo to the right is Owen s hockey pic for the 2010-2011 season with the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association. So, if you hear a cow bell clanging loudly when the Wolves take to the ice in Kelowna during the tournament, you can be sure Owen Pritchard is in the stands! http://waterloowolvesaaa.wordpress.com/
