AFAF FALFINS LONG COURSE OPEN June 27-29, 2014 Friday, Saturday, Sunday Location: Facilities: USAF Academy Cadet Field Pool (in the Academy Cadet Gymnasium West of the Field House, Colorado Springs, Co. Indoor eight (8) lanes 50 meter pool. Large bleacher area for spectators. Warm-Up and Warm-Down pool available. Rules: Qual. Times: Current USA and Colorado rules shall govern the conduct of the meet. Age if the swimmers is determined as of Friday, June 27, 2014. All events will be pre-seeded. The 400-800-1500 Freestyle and the 400 IM will require positive check-in. Check-In on Friday by 5:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday by 9:00 AM. These events will be swum fastest to slowest alternating genders. The 12 & Under 400 Free and 13 & Over 800-1500 Free will be Timed Finals. The 400-800 Free swimmers must provide their own timers and counters. This is a prelims/final meet. In Session 2 and/or 6 who WILL NOT be attending Finals need to scratch from Finals with Administrative Referee before leaving for home. This is the swimmer/parent s responsibility, NOT THE COACH! 12 & Under swimmers may enter up to four (4) individual events plus one (1) relay per day. 13 & Over swimmers may enter up to three (3) individual events plus one (1) relay per day. USA Swimming National B Standard Times for all events according to the age. 15 & Over swimmers use qualifying times standards fro the 15-16 age group. The times are below the Order of Events. Entry Fees: Individual Events $4.50 per event. Swimmer Surcharge $18.00 per swimmer Please make check payable to the: Aces Swim Club. Entry Deadline: All entries are due by FRIDAY, May 9 th, 2014. Directions: Special Note: Take 1-25 south to Air Force North Gate, Exit 156B to Parade Loop (turn left) to Field House Drive (turn right). Park in spaces available to the south and east of the Field House-Do not park west of the Field House, you will get ticketed or towed away. Please be aware that you will be entering a US Military installation with security checkpoints. There is a security check at the entrance to the Academy. Drivers will need to be prepared to show a photo ID and may be subject to vehicle searches. Please allow a little extra time for security when entering the Academy. There will also be a security checkpoint as you enter the gym for bag checks and may be waived by a wanding stick. At a recent event at the gym, coolers were not allowed. Please be prepared for delays entering the gym, and allow swimmers and coaches priority. The Academy is working with the host team to ensure a smoothly run swim meet.
