Nikki Caldwell Basketball Camp 2017 Team Camp June 24-25, 2017 What time is check-in? Check-in begins on Saturday, June 24 th in the Practice Facility of the PMAC from 8:00-8:30am. For teams that are driving further distances that are unable to be there at that time or teams that are only playing on Sunday, you must check-in no later than 45 minutes prior to the start of your first game. Parking We would encourage you to park in parking lots 104 & 105 between Nicholson Drive & the Bernie Moore Track Stadium. There is a walkway between the track and the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse that will lead you to our Practice Facility, where you can enter through the glass doors behind the Shaquille O Neal Statue. Teams staying in the dorms During check-in you will be issued keys for your teams rooms. You are responsible for those keys, so please do not lose them. Each lost key will cost you $75.00. This amount must be paid when you turn in your keys. Keys need to be turned into the camp store prior to the start of your first game on Sunday. You must have all belongings out of the dorms by NOON. Snacks There will be drinks and snacks available for purchase at the camp store throughout the duration of camp. We are very excited about this camp and the opportunity it affords your team to build towards next season s goals. LET S GEAUX!

TEAM CAMP COACHES INFORMATION 1. Make sure that you bring all players waivers to registration if you have not turned them in to us. Your players cannot play without them. 2. If you have a balance, it must be paid prior to playing your first game. 3. Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their team at all times. If you have difficulty with another team, please inform the camp director. 4. Players may not leave campus unless their coach accompanies them or is given permission from their coach. 5. Coaches are responsible for making sure their team is in the right place at the right time. 6. Players should leave all valuables in a secure place. The Nikki Caldwell Basketball Camp is not responsible for lost or stolen objects. 7. Use of tobacco, alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. 8. Please be courteous to opponents, scorekeepers/timekeepers, and officials. 9. Snacks and drinks and other items will be sold in our camp store throughout the duration of camp sessions. 10. ALL games will be played in the PMAC or WBB/MBB practice facilities. *On Sunday, please turn in ALL room keys before you play your first game on Sunday. There is a $75 charge for a lost key.
TEAM CAMP GAME RULES 1. If you arrive late to your scheduled game, your team will forfeit the game and your team will be charged a $40 penalty that will be used to pay the game officials. PLEASE PLAN TO SHOW UP AT LEAST 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED START OF YOUR GAME! 2. Each game will consist of two 18-minute halves (RUNNING TIME). The clock will stop in the final minute of the second half. 3. Jump ball to begin each game and overtime periods. Teams will alternate possessions on jump balls. 4. There will be a 10-second back court violation and 5 seconds closely guarded (with dribble). 5. Overtime will be ONE MINUTE. If it goes into the second overtime, it will be sudden death. 6. Team fouls will be kept, but individual fouls will not be kept. We will confirm with our game officials about the shooting of free throws. 7. College free throw lane rules (enter upon release) and college 3-point line will be in effect. 8. Substitute on a dead ball only. 9. The 2 nd team list on the schedule is the home team & will wear a light color. 10. Pregame warmup is five minutes, and halftime is two minutes. Teams are allowed 1 timeout per half...2 TOTAL. Timeouts will last one minute. Timeouts do not carry over to the second half or in overtime. 11. Warm-up may be extended or shortened at the discretion of the camp director. 12. Players cannot foul out. At the discretion of the referees, a player may be removed from the game for excessive or overly aggressive fouling. 13. Any technical foul results in automatic two points being awarded and possession of the ball. 14. Game times and locations are subject to change. 15. Encourage sportsmanship!
