Please keep dogs away from the show and warm-up arenas and out of all buildings. Owners of any dogs found to be off of their leash will be warned, then fined or asked to leave. We will call animal control to pickup nuisance dogs.

Management reserves the right to remove any such person(s) from the show without being liable for compensation and/or damages. Management may require the removal of any animal from the premises unless the animal is confined and controlled. Unsportsmanlike Conduct Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated! Any action of disrespect, deceit or fraud directed to show management, grounds crew, show representatives or judges will result in disqualification from competition and removal from the facility. Individuals accused of unsportsmanlike conduct will be subject to the disciplinary procedures set forth by the National Reining Horse Association in Article A of the handbook. ORHA, NRHA & AQHA Class Awards All ORHA classes will have GIST Buckles awarded to the cumulative champion. Cumulative champions are determined based on the highest combined scores from both goes of that specific class. All ORHA Classes will have great day awards for 1st 5th place. In addition, all ORHA youth classes will have ribbons for 1st 5th place. All NRHA Class champions will receive an NRHA plaque or Pewter (depending on class). NRHA Youth classes will receive ribbons for 1st-5th place. AQHA Youth classes will receive ribbons for 1st-5th place. There are no awards for the other AQHA classes. NRHA/ORHA Open & Non Pro Derby Guidelines This is a category 2 event for horses 4, 5, & 6 years old. Horses are to be shown one handed in the bridle or may show two handed in a snaffle bit or hackamore NRHA Derby champions will be awarded Morrison trophies, reserve through 5th place will receive other great awards. The ORHA Derby Champion will receive a beautiful Gist buckle, reserve through 5th place will receive great ORHA awards. NRHA/ORHA Open & Non Pro Maturity Guidelines This is a category 2 event for horses 7 & older. NRHA Maturity champions will be awarded Morrison trophies, reserve through 5th place will receive other great awards. The top 10 horse and rider combinations from each NRHA class offered in the 2014 Reining In Oregon circuit will qualify for the Regional Affiliate Finals in Rancho Murieta, CA October 7-12, 2014.

ORHA Youth 18 & Under Year End Awards Division For 2014 there will be a special ORHA Year End Awards division for riders who are 18&U and show in either the ORHA Youth 13& U or ORHA Youth 14-18 classes. This is in addition to the ORHA Youth 14-18 & ORHA Youth 13&U year end awards. The ORHA Youth 18&U year end awards will be based upon the highest cumulative scores from every ORHA Youth 13&U and ORHA Youth 14-18 class. The two lowest scores will be dropped in the final year end calculations. ORHA Classes NOT Approved for Year End Awards ORHA LADIES: Any horse to be shown by a female rider. Horses to be shown in any age appropriate NRHA approved bit. Horses in the bridle must be shown one handed. ORHA GENTS: Any horse to be shown by a male rider. Horses to be shown in any age appropriate NRHA approved bit. Horses in the bridle must be shown one handed. ORHA Year End Award Rules YOU MUST SHOW AT LEAST 4 TIMES IN A CLASS TO QUALIFY FOR A YEAR END AWARD IN THAT CLASS. The owner and exhibitor of the horse must be a member of the ORHA prior to the first show in which you want points to be calculated for year-end awards. The horse must be nominated with the ORHA prior to the first show in which you want points to be calculated towards year-end awards. There is a $50 nomination fee, per horse, to nominate for the year. The owner or exhibitor must complete 3 ORHA volunteer hours by August 25th, 2014 per horse that they would like to be eligible for year end awards on. If you so choose, you can opt out of the 3 volunteer hours per horse and instead pay $50 per horse. For points to count toward year-end awards you must enter the horse, rider and owner with the same name as appears on your membership / nomination form. Year End Awards are given to the top 5 horses in each ORHA Class Approved for Year End Awards. The 2014 Champion in the ORHA Non Pro, ORHA Prime Time Non Pro, ORHA Rookie & ORHA 18&U will all receive trophy saddles! Saddles will be awarded at the 2014 Year End Awards Banquet. Points are awarded based on the number of horses actually competing in a class, i.e. if fifteen horses compete, first place will be awarded 15 points, 2 nd 14 points, etc. Points will be calculated on horses actually competing, excluding the horses entered but scratched. Zeros and no scores will not be awarded points. Horses with no points do not qualify for year end awards. In calculating the final year end award standings for each eligible class, the two lowest scores will be dropped from the calculation. In the event that the two lowest scores are no-shows or zeros then two zeroes or no-shows will be the dropped scores.
