- Be aware of everything that is happening around you. Look up when riding and do not sit in the flow of traffic. If you need to talk on the phone or text either leave the arena or stand away from moving horses. Please leave the arena when the water truck enters. When the tractor/drag enters the arena, all riding should stop. Please move out of the way of the tractor by either exiting the arena or moving to sides where it is not working. Please follow posted circling and stopping schedules for each arena. If no circling/fencing schedule is posted then circlers have the right of way. Stay with the flow of traffic. Please follow posted lunging rules for each arena. While the show is running, only horses that are getting ready to show should be in the warm up arenas immediately adjacent to the show pens. Alcohol is not allowed in the warmup arenas. Dogs are not allowed in the warmup arenas. If there appears to be a potentially dangerous situation in a warmup arena please contact show management or any ORHA board member for assistance. Please be advised that the ORHA has a zero tolerance policy for unsportsmanlike conduct or animal abuse. Report any instances to show management immediately. Show management will work swiftly to resolve any complaints. When the arena is circling, one side of the arena is for left circles and the other side of the arena is for right circles. Circlers have the right of way. Do not ride against the flow of traffic. Slower horses (walk/trot) should stay on the inside of the circles (stay off of the rail) and be in single file. Look around before you stop and back your horse. Be sure that no one is immediately following you. Work on spins in the center of circles that are being run and not in the path of the circle. When the arena is fencing, please be careful and watch for riders running up and down the arena. If you are fencing and there is a chance that someone may be in your way or not paying attention, please give them a heads up to avoid an accident. Please do not sit in the middle of the arena when people are fencing.

The 2015 Champion in the ORHA Non Pro, ORHA Prime Time Non Pro, ORHA Rookie & ORHA Youth 18&U will all receive Custom Scottsdale Western World Trophy Saddles! Saddles will be awarded at the 2015 ORHA Year End Awards Banquet. Points are awarded based on actual scores received in each class, i.e. if the top 3 horses in a class mark a 72, 71, and a 70, first place will be awarded 72 points, 2 nd 71 points, 3rd 70 points, etc. Horses with no points do not qualify for year end awards. In calculating the final year end award standings for each eligible class, the two lowest scores will be dropped from the calculation. In the event that the two lowest scores are no-shows or zeros then two zeroes or no-shows will be the dropped scores.
