Local History Border Relay started in 2002, now in our 16 th year 194 Relays held around Australia, 44 in NSW alone 2016 Border Relay For Life remained the biggest fundraising relay in Australia in terms of dollars raised and the biggest relay in the state, for participants numbers
Where does the money go? Research Each year CCNSW invests approximately $15 million into world class research that covers all areas of all types of cancers. Prevention Reducing cancer in the community by encouraging people to lead healthy, cancersmart lifestyles. Advocacy Ensuring governments take action to reduce cancer risk and improve access to care and treatment. Information and Support Empower and support people affected by cancer, so that no one need face cancer alone.

FightBack Tent / Health Hub Fightback Tent is our mission Survivors and Carers collect sashes & wrist bands Hope (Candle) Bags are decorated Hope Garden and PhotoBooth Information and support available In addition, this year we will be holding a Health Hub Open between 1pm 3pm and using a Relay Passport visit and participate in five (5) interactive health hub stations to receive stamps and win prizes. Enter a quiz based on the 1 in 3 prevention campaign to go into the draw for a $75 fruit and veg voucher drawn at the Fightback Ceremony.

Miss Relay Calling all pretty Gents: Miss Relay is back! Gather your feather boa s, big hats, highest heels and nominate one male from your team to slip into their best and prettiest dress! The contestant with the most amount of funds raised within the hour will be crowned Miss Relay 2017! Women s Warrior Challenge Due to popular demand the Women s Warrior Challenge will back making an special appearance at the 2017 Border Relay For Life! It s an obstacle course of sorts. First one to dash across the finish line will be crowned the 2017 Women s Warrior Challenge Winner!
Superhero Race & Undie 100 Men s and Women's To get the energy pumping late Saturday evening, the Super Hero and Men and Women s Undie 100 races will be held. Note Joggers & RFL shirts must be worn in Undie 100
