CRC TOURNAMENT PAIRING PROCEDURE Pairings for the CRC tournaments are based on the NSAA Power Point averages/standings on the NSAA website. Such power point averages are to be used by the host school on the appropriate cutoff date as described in the CRC Volleyball and Basketball notebooks. Other guidelines include: 1. The team with the highest NSAA power point average will be seeded #1, second best power point #2, etc. 2. If identical averages exist, head-to-head competition will be used as the first tie breaker, with the winner between the teams assigned the top seed. 3. All other identical ties are to be broken by coin flip--winner of coin flip to be seeded before the other tied team. Adopted April 23, 2003 Executive Meeting
