Structure Objectives Provide an environment and opportunity for every member to reach their full potential. Meet the changing needs of our ever changing environment: Education Social Family Provide a clear and simple membership criteria for each squad. Provide a motivational, transparent and fair progression path to ensure each swimmer understands what they need to do and achieve to progress through the structure.

The Criteria for Each Squad The criteria to gain entry and maintain membership of each squad will include: Regular assessment Age Ranges Required attendance levels (Registers will be kept and monitored) Clearly defined skill levels Qualifying times Minimum competition commitment (To be set by coaches at beginning of each year) Extracurricular activities (where appropriate) Land training Log books In exceptional circumstances movement between squads will be at the discretion of the professional coaching team.

Implementation Programme New Structure will start from Monday 30 th September 2013. New time table published today (16 th September). Individual letters are available this evening with new squad details for each swimmer. (all existing members will need to achieve the required criteria for that squad within an initial period of 12 months). Squad membership criteria will be issued before the end of September 2013. Revised fees will be announced in October and introduced from 1 st November 2013. A series of question & answer sessions will be held for parents during the first 2 weeks of October. A review of the new structure carried out in November with any amendments being implemented in January.
