If applicable, pressure relief/pressure governor valve was set. 7. Selected correct lever for master stream device. 8. Discharge pressure was set for master stream device with combination (fog) nozzle or smooth bore tips. 9. Monitored for potential problems.

Connect and Supply Fire Department Connection (FDC) Skill Number: AOP-4 Objective: 5.2.4 (A)(B) complete objective. 2. The candidate uses safety precautions. 3. The candidate shall be provided with a fire department connection (FDC). 4. The candidate will be given the instructions below before beginning this exercise. 5. Monitor/Evaluator designates residential or commercial FDC The candidate shall supply water to a fire department connection (FDC) after making correct connection to the system so that water is supplied to the system at the proper pressures with 100% accuracy. 2. Placed apparatus in proper position. 3. Placed wheel chocks under wheels. 4. Placed apparatus into pump gear. 5. Attached one (1) or two (2) lines to the fire department connection (FDC). 6. Recognized the need for water supply. 7. Operates from a secure water source. 8. Pump discharge pressure (PDP) was set to desired pressure. 9. Monitored for any problems that may occur.

Skill Number: AOP-5 One Hoseline Attack/One Exposure Hose Line Objective: 5.2.2. (B), 5.2.4 (A)(B) complete objective. 2. The candidate shall be provided with a structure suitable to simulate this evolution. 3. The candidate uses safety precautions. 4. The candidate will be given the instructions below before beginning this exercise. 5. Monitor/Evaluator must know what the operating nozzle pressure is. The candidate shall position apparatus and deploy one (1) 1 ½, (1) 1 ¾, or (1) 2 hose line for fire attack and one (1) 2½ hoseline for exposure and establish and maintain both lines at the correct pump discharge pressure with 100% accuracy. 2. Placed apparatus in position. 3. Placed wheel chocks under wheels. 4. Placed apparatus into pump gear. 5. Deployed the correct hose lines. 6. Opened correct discharges for lines deployed. 7.
