The future of business Deloitte Singapore 50 th Anniversary Art Competition https://www2.deloitte.com/sg/sgart Submission by: 14 July 2017
The future of business The beauty of dreams. The power of change. Floating airports, air taxis, knowledge transfer through wires, video phones these were some ideas people 100 years ago when asked to envision the future. These dreams gave rise to a revolution of transformative technologies that propelled the world into a period of dramatic change. Today, we have airplanes carrying hundreds of people, the internet connecting the world to vast repositories of knowledge, and smartphones allowing people to communicate visually halfway around the globe. The beauty of such ideas stems from their impossibility, and when an idea gets pulled from the vastness of imagination into the realm of reality, the world is changed. As part of Deloitte Singapore s 50th anniversary celebrations and as our organisation looks toward the future, we invite students and budding artists to participate in our Digital art competition which aims to challenge today s designers to illustrate their visionary glimpse of the future of business and innovation. How do you envision the future of business 50 or even 100 years from now?
