WEEKEND LAYOVER IN THE BURGH: Tonight the Pirates are scheduled to begin a brief three-game homestand against Milwaukee before heading back out on the road for a seven-day road trip to Los Angeles (May 8-10) and Arizona (May 11-14)...The next trip will conclude a stretch that has Pittsburgh playing 14-of-17 games away from PNC Park. GETTING ON BASE: Andrew McCutchen has reached base safely in each of his last 23 games, dating back to 4/10...It is the second-longest active on-base streak in the Major Leagues behind Seattle s Mitch Haniger (25 games).
