Find All the Information You Need to Know about the Week at www.jlmannspiritweek.com Visit the site so you know how your family can get involved in this exciting week full of colorful fun while supporting a great cause and showing school spirit! Spirit Week Starts This Friday!!

This year we are excited to support the Center for Developmental Services in its endeavors to change the lives of children and parents by ensuring that individuals with developmental needs and their families reach their full potential through evaluation, treatment, education and support. Throughout its fifteen year history, CDS has affected the lives of over 127,000 children from birth to age twenty. Many of the students that CDS helps are members of the J.L. Mann family. In addition, many others are members of the Greenville community. CDS is the only center in the nation to offer services from various partners under one roof, making it as easy as possible for patients to receive the best and most convenient care. The Care that CDS provides not only acts as a place to receive medical attention; it is also, and most importantly, an organization that administers hope to those who truly need it most. Many families arrive at CDS believing that their child will never be able to walk or to be an independent, functioning member of society. Every day, CDS replaces that despair with certainty and optimism. Also, a small portion of our funds will be used to fund the JL Mann After-School Transportation Program. Since its introduction 4 years ago, the after-school program has allowed many students in our school to stay for extra academic help and tutoring sessions, along with allowing them to participate in extra-curricular activities. This program has been vital in helping students who ride the bus graduate. All week long there will be places to eat breakfast and dinner; the restaurants give us a percent of the proceeds from that morning or night so you don't have to worry about cooking all week!! Lunches will also be offered, so send money to school every day!!!
