GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION Any riding time changes must be approved by the show secretary prior to the competition. * No person other than the officials, attendants, on duty and the judges of the class may enter the show ring without permission from the official's. Competitors entering the arena outside of the posted warm up times will be eliminated. * The Show Committee reserves the right to remove any horse/ rider from the competition without being liable for compensation. * There will be no test readers provided by the show, all riders must sup -ply their own readers. * Standard whip length is 120cm. (including lash) and ponies riding in ANY class can only carry a whip of 100cm. Including lash. * Dogs are always welcome however for safety reasons, we ask that you please keep your dog on a leash at all times. For safety and sanitary reasons, no dogs will be permitted in the schooling area, show rings or show office. * Riders must wear approved helmets at all times while riding on show grounds. * SCHOOLING TIME - The show rings will be open for practice prior to the show. * Must follow Cold Lake Ag Society rules available at www.coldlakeag.com

AEF HELMET POLICY For safety and insurance purposes, all riders, regardless of age or level, must wear ASTM/SEI, BSI/ BS EN or AS/NZS approved protective headgear at all times when mounted at any Wild Rose competition (exception, see Section 1.13). STALLIONS Mannerly stallions may be shown by 18 and over Adult competitors ONLY. AGE CATEGORIES Age categories are based on the individuals age as of Jan 1 of the competition year: Junior : 11 years and under Adult: 12 years and over COMPETITION NUMBER The competition number designated to the horse/rider combination by the Show Secretary must be worn by the horse or the rider/handler from the time it is issued whenever the horse is not in its stall or trailer in order to facilitate identification by officials. A warning will be issued the first time the horse is seen without its designated number. The second offence may result in elimination or disqualification as determined by the Ground Jury Steward/Show Committee.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT Please note that by signing this agreement, you give up the right to sue for any injury or damages howsoever caused. Cold Lake Area Dressage Association and its directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents. I agree as a precondition to my participation in all events organized by The Cold Lake Area Dressage Association and or the Agents including, but not limited To CLADA Wildrose Show _or (Collectively referred to as: the activities) and in further consideration of the company allowing me to do so, that I will be strictly bound by the terms of this Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement, (the agreement).i acknowledge that the activities involve inherent risks and dangers that may cause serious injury and possible death to participants. 2. I fully understand the risks and dangers associated with my participation in the activities and accept same entirely at my own risk. 3. I hereby waive any and all claims which I may have against The Cold Lake Area Dressage Association and the agents and release the Cold Lake Area Dressage Association and the agents from all liability for injury, death, property damage or any other loss sustained by me as a result of my participation in the activities, due to any cause whatsoever: including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care by the Cold Lake Area Dressage Association and/or the agents. 4. I appreciate that the agreement limits the liability of the agents to the same extent as it limits the liability of the Cold Lake Area Dressage Association, even though the agents are not formal parties to the agreements I AM 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE AGREEMENT. I UNDER- STAND THAT THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A PROMISE NOT TO SUE THE Cold Lake Area Dressage Association AND/ OR THE AGENTS AND THAT IT CONSTITUTES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND AN INDEMNITY FOR ALL CLAIMS.
