Here are some notes from our last meeting Don t forget all bills are due in full by January 15th. Beginners Beginners are doing great things on the ice. The kids are starting to learn the basics of the game and putting pucks in the net. If you re at the rink on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays, stop by and cheer on our newest hockey players! New players you should have already registered your players at www.usahockey.com. Your coach or team manager needs your child s registration number. Also, if you haven t already, please provide your coach or team manager with a copy of your child s birth certificate!

A.D.M. Program/Mite Hockey The Lakers Mite Select teams had a great time in the December Jamborees in Jamestown and Fredonia. Jamestown Spence won all 5 games in the Jamestown Jamboree and posted a 3-2 record in the Fredonia Jamboree including wins against the Southtowns Stars and Olean. Jamestown Kresge did a great job and had a great time too. They all respected their opponents, their team members, and the game itself. Squirt MOHL

Pee-Wee (NTB) Following our victory 4-2 over Hamburg Hawks, our team had a Pot Luck Holiday Dinner, Secret Santa Gift Exchange, and a Cookie Exchange and contest. The boys kept their secret Santas a secret for more than a month! They played a guess who style game to figure out who their Santa was. The cookie exchange was a lot of fun and four families were awarded with the following categories: The Smith's - Most Elegant Cookie, The Spillane's - Cutest Cookie, The Turner's - Most Festive Cookie, and The Gibbons's - Most Unique Cookie. We are looking forward to family time for the holidays and hitting the ice hard with many games and tournaments as we ring in the New Year with FIRE IN OUR HEARTS AND ICE IN OUR VEINS! Go Pee Wee NTB! Pee Wee NTB continued raising awareness and serving the community in December. We joined Pee Wee TB and went BLUE with our skate laces in support of Coach Yost and his family. We collected various pet items to support the Humane Society. Last but not least, we took care of our own. To make our own player feel special and hopefully a little more comfortable, we made our very own Aiden Gibbons a special care package filled with candy, fruit, snacks, books, magazines, games, and more! Thank you players for your ongoing commitment to making a difference on and off the ice!

Pee-Wee (State Bound) The Pee-Wee State bound team took first place in the New Year s tournament at our home rink. Bantam Travel (State Bound) The Bantams started the year off right with wins against Bradford and Olean and a tie against the Buffalo Bisons. The team will travel to Cleveland for a tournament in January, but the rest of their games are at home. Come cheer on the Bantams at their home games in January: Saturday, January 10 th at 4:30 p.m. (vs. Wheatfield) Sunday, January 11 th at 1:00 p.m. (vs. Fredonia) Saturday, January 24 th at 4:30 p.m. (vs. Cazenovia) Sunday, January 25 th at 1:00 p.m. (vs. Fredonia) Saturday, January 31 st at 2:30 p.m. (vs. Geneseo)
