Having experienced relatively minor damages from Hurricane Katrina, the club was able to rebuild stronger than before and is currently adding or updating some exciting new facilities. Today, the club has a rare view of the marina as well as sunsets over the lake from its bar and dining areas lined with trophies won from countless regattas all across the United States. NOYC hosts a 200 person ballroom or meeting space, East Ballroom overlooking the marina. as well as a second floor balcony overlooking the marina and the lake. The club also has a commercial grade galley/kitchen. Downstairs is the multi-purpose room which has locker room facilities including a large workout and game room. Immediately next door is our dry storage area with a 2 ton hoist as well as floating and static docks. Having hosted anything from weddings to fishing rodeos to public board meetings, NOYC is a true facility that serves all of its member s needs.
