Dear young athletes! On behalf of the Organizing Committee I welcome all the participants of the Junior World Orienteering Championships: competitors, coaches, supporters and sponsors. Only a single one can be the best. But more important than victory over others is victory over yourself. It is a great feeling, knowing that you have done your best. I wish you all to experience this feeling during these Championships! Only a few of you take home medals, but all of you will leave with new experiences and have new friends. I wish that after these competitions you are better, smarter, friendlier and more confident. Have a nice Championships week in Estonia! Margus Leivo Minister of Internal Affairs Chairman of the Organizing Committee 1
