BIG SIR DAVE MOORE 893-2157 Big Sir Dave Moore 893-2157 September, hey everybody it s time for a PICNIC. We will be holding our annual picnic on Saturday Sept. 15 th. Always fun, always great food, you won t want to miss it. If you haven t purchased your tickets yet, contact Phil Serna at 872-8649 or Bernie Dubbert at 872-8351. Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for children 12 and under. I want to see everyone there. In addition to the picnic this month, we will be holding our BEC meeting on Friday the 14 th at 12 noon. I would encourage all of the board members to go to our web site at sir paradise 52 and read the branch 52 rules. These will be a major part of the agenda for this meeting. We will also be forming our RAMP committee to take effect immediately, and some possible changes to our birthday boy program. Make sure your there. I would like to congratulate and thank all of those who volunteered to serve on the BEC next year. I expect it to be a year of positive change and growth. Speaking of change, John and I, having attended the SIR S annual meeting this August are encouraged that the State is going in the right direction to encourage growth and provide the branches more flexibility in the running of their operations. This was evident in the rule changes they have made this year and the ones that are under consideration. I d like to take this opportunity to welcome our newest SIR, Jim Hilton. Jim was inducted into branch 52 at our August luncheon. I m sure that you will be seeing Jim at several of the activities and our luncheons. Take some time and introduce yourselves to Jim and welcome him into our branch. My wife and I just got back from another fine Out-To-Lunch adventure put on by our Out-To-Lunch coordinator Bill McNelley. This one was a private tour of the Monca Museum of Northern California Art located at 900 The Esplanade, Chico. Following the tour we all enjoyed a fine lunch and beverages at Logan s Roadhouse. These outings are a great opportunity for your wife or girlfriends to meet each other and develop new friendships and a great activity to enjoy together. So if you haven t attended an OTL put it on your list of things to do and let Bill know you re interested. See you all at the PICNIC Big Sir David Moore LITTLE SIR JOHN RAWLINGS 877-1292 Greeting, We have our Annual Picnic instead of our regularly scheduled meeting for September so there will be no Guest Speaker. But we still all have to be gathering prizes for our raffle The Picnic is 15 Sept.so make sure you get your prizes turned into either to Fred Carrasca Ph. 530-872-7502 or Clyde Tynes Ph. 530-872-8144 before the Picnic call and get a date and place from one of them.
