DESCRIPTION MCW100A, B Time Proporional Roary Posiion Conroller Issued: March 1992 The MCW100 Time Proporional Roary Posiion Conroller provides auomaic grade or seering conrol of paving, renching and curbing machines by swiching an on/off solenoid valve. The Conroller uses a wand follower o sense he grade level or seering command from a sringline or surface. Two modules are housed in he case of he Conroller. The grade sensing module elecromagneically measures he deviaion beween he rue grade of he machine hrough he follower. The amplifier module receives he signal from he sensor module and produces a volage oupu o drive solenoid valves which, on a ypical paving machine, operae lif cylinders. Wihin he amplifier s proporional band, he percen of ime he oupu is on is proporional o he grade error. The MCW100A and B are he same wih hree excepions: Firs, he A uni is swiched on he ho side while he B uni is swiched on he ground side. Second he A has an inernal grade/slope swich ha he B does no have. Third, on he A model he deadband adjusmen is a muliple urn rim poeniomeer and on he B model i is a single urn rim poeniomeer.
