Key Points 4 out/1 in offense Keep the floor balanced with #2 and #3 low in the corners #5 always stays opposite the ball and works block to block post under After you pass, cut to the rim and WANT the ball. If you don t receive a pass fill the open corner. All perimeter players sprint to fill the open spots/up to the ball. If your defender is denying you a pass, that triggers an automatically back cut. If your teammate fakes a pass to you, that triggers an automatic back cut. No fake/half cuts. If you start a cut, you finish it all the way to the rim. Drill 10 passes and then score. Use dots as place markers and put a dot under the rim so all cutters get all the way to the hoop.

Key Points Same concept as Layer 1 but instead of cutting all the way to the rim, the cutter needs to Hook in the gaps of the zone around the free throw line area. The hook person stays in the gap until the next pass is made and then they fill the opposite corner, while the passer becomes the hook person. When a pass is made to the hook person they need to turn and face the basket, look to pass to the post (hi-low), look to shoot, or pass out to the opposite. The #5 stays opposite the ball, can flash to the ball, or can go to the short corner. #5 needs to avoid the area where the hook occurs.

Key Points If you dribble, you need to get into the lane and try to score. #1 lane drive and jump stop, triggers #2 lift cut or back cut. #2 needs to read the defense. Middle drives trigger both a lift cut and euro cut. If the middle drive crosses the mid-line, triggers #5 to post under. After the driver passes to the lift cut or euro cut, they loop cut to the corner.

Lane Drive Lay-ups Close-offs and Explosion Middle Drive Euro Cut Layups Back Cuts Close-offs Lift Cut Lay-ups Opposite Side Lift Cut Lay-ups Same Side Middle Drive Throw Back

Lightning Wing entry to #2, #1 L-screen for #4 #4 cuts to the basket and #1 pops back to the ball, #3 fills up As the ball is reversed to #1 and #3, #5 screens for #4 for a corner look. Fist #4 sets a flat screen for #1. #1 reads the defense and attacks. #4 rolls to the basket and 5 posts under and lifts. #3 lift cuts if #1 gets in the paint and jump stops.
