All other activities outside of Canada require a GCG authorization form which can be found on the GCG website (http://gymcan.org/eventsresults/general-event-documents/authorization-forms). Activities include, but are not limited to competitions, training camps, clinics, courses etc. GCG SANCTIONS TO HOST are required for all events that include international guests. FIG JUDGES GCG is responsible for arranging the travel for assigned judges to National Team events. Travel bookings are arranged to keep team members travelling together. For non-national Team assignments, please refer to the GCG authorization form. FIG TOURNAMENTS (NOT ASSIGNMENTS) Directives for FIG Tournaments that are not NT assignments can be found on the FIG website (http://www.fig-gymnastics.com/site/competition/search). Gymnastics Canada has the responsibility of approving the GCG authorization forms, assignments and completing the FIG registrations. If participation is limited GCG will consider the most recent ranking list from either EC or CC. Highly recommended that an eligible judge be included on the form. All communication with hosts for these events is done through GCG, unless otherwise noted. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. All participants are responsible for reading the Directives for the event they are attending. If you have questions contact torr@gymcan.org and bmosienko@gymcan.org 2. For all FIG Tournaments, judges are required to have a minimum brevet IV. 3. No assignments will be given or authorizations approved to any participant with outstanding invoices owing to GCG 6 All self-funded expenses will be invoiced to the individual by GCG prior to Nominative Registration and are payable by credit card or cheque prior to departure to the event. 7. Minors who travel without a parents/guardian are required to have a Travel Consent Form. 8. All FIG events are limited to NT members or potential NT members with Canadian citizenship that have been approved by the NTD or designate. 9. All gymnasts attending FIG events must be in possession of a FIG License. Note: Applications and renewals will be administrated by GCG. Gymnasts use the same FIG License card throughout their gymnastics career. Renewals are done electronically by GCG. Approved Non- National Team athletes are responsible for the cost of their FIG license. ALL gymnasts are responsible for lost card charges. 11. National Team members (athletes and coaches) are required to wear the current GCG National Team uniform at official National Team assignments. For all other international events they are representing their club and therefore are to wear their club uniform. 12. Risk Management Requirements for Coaches, Judges, Managers, IST: Police Record Check, Respect in Sport, True Sport Clean 101 and Making Headway Non-FIG invitations will be emailed to the PTO s.
